Hi, I'm a former GMS & EMS old school player

Hi readers.
I used to be a maple enthousiast between 2005 - 2009 playing on both GMS and eventually forced to play EMS.
Had a blast training a sniper, hermit, DK and a failed I/L mage with str

I decided to check MS out after some updates like BB, Red and stuff but its not what I want anymore.
Looking for the old school feeling I guess so many people are searching after.

I'm a student so I have some time to play the game, looking for a good time!
As well as looking for one or two players also starting from lv 1 soon, so we can do party and PQ together for more fun

Welcome to Royals! I was playing GMS around then too but we all kept our accounts there...not sure how you ended up at EMS

Character creation is currently not working, we're somewhat in a beta phase, the game is not likely to be functioning correctly for a couple of weeks. You won't be able to register for an account until character creation is fixed which is a high priority for staff. Keep an eye on the announcements section to keep up to date but my advice for now is to find something else to do with your time. If I were you, I'd want my first nostalgic experience to be perfect, not hindered by random crashes and bugged NPCs.

I won't personally be making a new character but I'm pretty sure I seen a post in the community section looking for people to restart together

Thank you for replying!
I'm not sure anymore what caused GMS to remove many European accounts to EMS, I figure they only decided to keep Lv 100+ players since my friend was lv 101 and his account was still playable, which was really frustrating for me because he started a few weeks after me.
Anyways, thank you for clearing up the registering part. I will take your advice in consideration and might decide to start later when the game runs smoothly again. If not, I will make use of the thread you linked, thank you very much again for that!
