Error Code: -2147024809 (The parameter is incorrect.)

I play mapleroyals for a long time, and didn't play the last two weeks because of the update (not complaining though... I really appreciate your hard work ) . Yesterday I saw that the server is online again but it couldn't log in from the character selection screen. Today I tried to log in again and when I tried to open the game I got this error code...
What should I do?

I did it and it didn't work... still getting the same error code

By the way, I have windows 10.

 

Have you tried other compatibility settings? Just try them all until one works for you, I used to get this error all the time but I've been running on Windows Vista compatibility with no problems for months.

 

I was getting the same error..the only thing that works for me is doing the compatibility stuff they suggest and also not having any internet explorer open at all...I have to close out of internet explorer/chrome and open royals then after it loads open up my pages again

 

Changed it to windows 8 and is seems to work perfectly fine! thank you very much!!!
