Update New Source Update #5 11/01/17

People seem to forget the main reason for this push toward the new source is server stability, which will allow the team to more easily work on the server. This would allow us all to assume that their estimated time frames would also be more accurate as they would run into less problems when doing fixes. Yes it is bad for the server to be down for this long but what can be done?

Everyone should hangout with some family and friends because I'm sure we all need some time away from the computer.

it could also be they are just waiting to see if the server crashes again before they push the next update. Since that is also something that is nice to have information about...

 

is that going fix those Trades, Gacha and Cash Shop?

 

I'm under the impression that those are going to be the last things to be fixed since their is so much other stuff to work on

 

Those thing should be priority first to make the game more playable

 

Any information about when will character creation be enabled?

 

Without pqs/working skills those wouldn't make a difference either way

 

I think our priority atm is to have all classes their core skills working, which to me sounds way more important than Gachapon or Cash Shop.
Luxury content is not our highest priority at the moment, basic gameplay mechanics is.

 

Still hoping new character creation will come up soon!

Yap working skill is important for grinding but pq can be postponed

I don't think this is true considering theres only 1 channel, no bossing, no pqs. I'd rather go with a few skills broken than the actual gameplay being broken.

 

A few skills? Have you even looked at the list of skills that are not working right now?
Some jobs literally have close to non of their skills working at this time, and we believe those should be worked on first before working on other content.
If you believe we shouldn't work on those issues first, you probably play a class that's barely affected by these issues..

 

Yeah I looked at the skill list. Thing is, theres no real need for this skills because nothing currently exists that make those skills necessary. But I see your point as well. If you ended up fixing bosses and pq first, the classes with broke skills would be in a bad position and couldn't play.

I just personally think BL and a few other things could be prioritized higher. Considering the server is up for a social experience in the meantime, I find it weird how BL isn't being worked on for ppl to actually know who is online instead of having to walk around trying to find them.

Dont get the wrong idea, im grateful for all the work being put in. I just wish the game was more playable
