hi there, im really new here, i was trying to join this game last week but it was seem upgrading. If the upgrade is finished, when are you guys going to open the registration? i didnt see a way that i can try to register at this point, or is there anything i missed ?
A GM just told me that they were working on the new source update so it would be disabled until they are finished. P/s: I am as new as you lololol
Character creation and registration is currently disabled, as this update has been in the works for over 2 years now(And just this year implemented it into the real servers), they are fixing lots of the bugs and they have a top priority, being character creation and registration, as well as fixing many of the skills in game. I'm confused. Are you saying the registration is also disabled for almost 2 years? I think you mean they are currently working on sth they planned for a long time,so the registration will not come back in a short term?
No, the registration was not disabled for almost 2 years. This update (or upgrade, whatever you would like to call it) has been planned for a very long time, but there are many bugs and glitches that still need fixing. The GMs are working on these issues, but we do not know when they will bring back character creation. However, don't let this downtime discourage you from leaving before you've even joined since Royals is probably the best PMS server out there.
They have been working on developing this update for 2 years (In another server), meaning it took some time to fully put in the update, as well as sort all the bugs out when transferring to the real servers, in other words, It's temporarily down, but they are trying to get it up.
the patch is worked on for the past years, and was implemented in jan 1 2017. In new source update #6 notes; based on their source update releases so far (18 days with each within 2-4 days ranges), it is safe to guesstimate that they will bring back channels, followed by char creation/trading/storages within late jan to mid feb. you can see their releases in their homepage. prediction for #8 will prolly be on the 19/20th, and #9 will be on the 23/24th
