A Message To Anyone Who Ever Affiliated Themselves With Nirvana/Komkommer*

Hello, this is Paco speaking on behalf of this thread.

I would just like to say a little something to anyone who ever affiliated themselves with the guilds Nirvana and/or Komkommer. Regardless if you were/are/never in Nirvana, Komkommer, PacoKnife, Ditto, Pandora, or any other guild, these screenshots represent the experiences and memories we've all shared with each other, as a small community. The idea that brought Nirvana to being made was to bring all kinds of people together, regardless of age,race,experience,wealth,popularity, and level, to a sub-community that welcomes all people to be themselves and have a good time. As Roka sort of showed in his leadership, we're all just the same equal people at the end of the day. Nobody has more power over the other.

Although, you never needed to be apart of any of these guilds to have such great experiences like these. MapleRoyals has such a good community, that you can thrive without even being in a guild. You could literally start your own "Maplestory" right from Maple Island, where you don't even have access to joining a guild (setting Islanders aside ofc). I mean, the foundation of probably all guilds, is a small group of friends who want to put a label on their friendship, then slowly growing and growing to make their own "sub-community".

But REGARDLESS, at the end of the day, its people meeting each other, becoming friends, becoming friends of their friends, and becoming friends of the friends of their friends. The name under our IGN is just a label though. And it should always stay that way.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, regardless of what name is under your IGN (whether there is one or not), we're all still friends here playing a game together, sharing experiences, stories, and laughs with each other. We're all on this server to have a good time... with each other. I want to emphasize on the positive nature that guilds are supposed to have. Much of the "Guild Drama" occurs when people start associating their guild with the amount of people they have and/or the power they hold over them, rather than the quality of people themselves and the (don't wanna sound corny but) power of friendships between the members.

Personally, as a "guild leader" (which honestly I don't really consider myself to be), I do my best to make sure myself, and also the Jrs., actually get to know every single member in the guild. Because, what's the point of having a shit ton of members, when you don't even know a single thing about them or even shared a single experience with them? Whether the guild is small or big in terms of members, its really about the quality of the overall friendship between each member.

I'm probably rambling on about the same thing at this point. So I'm gonna end with this:

I want to keep the nature of guilds like the motto of Covergirl.

The Legend of TheKindOne

One normal day, Nirvana decided to GPQ. The line-up was set, and everybody was good to go. Little did they know, this specific PQ would change the true meaning of Nirvana. This story spans between August 31st to September 2nd.



The PQ ran smoothly, with very minimal errors or disconnections. The crew had made their way all the way to room right before the epic boss battle.



As they were waiting for each member to prepare for the fight, PacosTaco decided to give TheKindOne a pink beanie for good luck. This beanie would watch over him during the fight.



Right before the group was about to enter the boss room, the Jr. Masters of the party had accidentally disconnected, forcing everybody to leave the PQ to start over. The thing was, everyone left except TheKindOne. Each member called out to him, telling him to leave, but to no response.

1 Day Had Passed.


2 Days Had Passed.

To this day, there has only been 1 spotting of TheKindOne, dating back to early November or December. The legitimacy of the spotting has yet to be confirmed.

The Legend Of TheKindOne forever lives on in our hearts.

The Day Gina Ruined Komkommer*

One fine day, the infamous Gina decided to join Komkommer for a short while:



Everything was fine and dandy until Gina received a chaos scroll from the mushroom shrine Gachapon. All hell broke loose. The greed started setting in all the members of Komkommer and Lovehandles. Paco decided to test his luck with Gachapon himself, he didn't want Gina to have all the glory. This was the result:



and this...



Iris tried to test her luck to relieve herself of the greed, but was not as lucky in the end.



At this point, everyone's emotions were dangerously unstable, causing Gina to loose control and start kicking everyone out of Komkommer who didn't deem to be worth of her standards.



All this, while the LoveHandlers just watched everything burn.



And sadly, Paco was just there, waiting for this mess to end so that he could clean it up.

After 50 long years of recuperation (and paying for the various lawsuits against Gina), Komkommer was back on its own 2 feet again.

Fam and Paco had a grand master plan one day to build up the biggest meso empire that existed. Their goal was to build about 15b by the end of March. Paco had a good bil, while Fam had 2bil.

Unfortunately, Fam decided that he wanted to quit Royals in order to focus on his real life studies. This is where he handed down his riches to Paco, essentially tearing him apart economically and emotionally.





Paco couldn't handle all this money in his pocket. Never in his Maple Life did he ever have this much money... and power. To have this many mesos, but to sacrifice a dear friend as a result. He couldn't think straight. He started making rash decisions, which called for none other than Joe to come and help him. #iJoeBestSupportingCharacter2016



Paco survived.

Thank you Fam for giving me your legacy. I will put it into great use. FAREWELL MY FRIEND

The Temporary Death Of Komkommer*

[1/17/16 - 3/4/16]
Due to a series of unfortunate events, Paco + Pink had to go relatively MIA from Komkommer to focus on things in their real lives. They didn't know what they would come back to after 2 months of being absent.

Tompie was given the Jr. rank to watch over their cold, lifeless, pixel bodies while they were gone. It was a difficult task, but he had the strength to push through.


The 2 months proved to be very difficult for Komkommer. With most members leaving due to obvious inactivity of the Leader + Jr. They left to follow the new leadership of Iris and Kai. (Ditto -> Pandora) I still love you guys tho.

Regardless, the comeback of Pink + Paco proved to be very exciting. Coincidentally, another special someone came to visit to welcome the two back.

It all started from here.. We knew Joe was ready to die.
We tricked him into falling.



We hired a serial killer called JESSU, and she did her job well, the black goat that creeped pink out so much, and the black goat his friends weren't strong enough to kill him.




Perhaps some stronger mobs? Everyone was getting a little more aggressive.


WE DID IT.
Thanks to JESSU, we couldn't have done it without her help.
