So I can log in to my old account, and go all the way to the server part of the game, even log in... But when I do log in, the server is empty with no players. I understand that the registration for new players are closed right now, but for the old users like myself who are kinda like stuck, do we just have to wait til the registration opens and make new accounts?
I don't fully understand your question. From what I gather, you are asking whether you need to register a new account in the new source and where everyone went? 1. Our accounts are still here, our old characters on those accounts remain in the database. If you have played MR before January 1, 2017, you can login to your old account with all your progress transferred to v0.83. 2. The server has yet to implement (inter alia) Cash Shop, FM Shops, and Gachapon. Moreover, a number of character skills need to be reviewed to ensure their appropriate functionality. As a result, no small number of players wish to wait until the game functionalities are at least restored to the extent of the old v0.62. 3. Related to (2), the game no longer supports MAC users. Therefore, it is foreseeable that a number of players who used to play on MAC could no longer enjoy the game w/o some alternate means. However, there is nothing in game that should prevent your training alone or with a party member somewhere. One can still reasonably enjoy the game without some key functionalities.
Yeah so I played before Jan 1, maybe around October of 2016 was the last time i logged in. I think I'm just lost with what's been going on. I've been looking around the forum to see if anyone was in similar situation as me but I couldn't find anyone. I guess I'm just logging in to V0.62 and I need help on downloading the V0.83. I tried deleting the game and downloading it again but that didn't work, I'm guessing it was the v0.62
