There has been some talk about Hex of the beholder stacking with w.att potions, I was hoping to clear up some confusion.

I did some searching on basil market, someone said post BB hex of beholder stack with w.att potions (lost url sauce). Some clarification would be nice.
    Thanks in advance.

IIRC, they said that it would not stack, however the attack buff would not over-ride apples/higher attack potions than the hex's 25. very well could be wrong but i cant find the thread for some reason

Also, how much is the attack buff once maxed? Some places say 15, some say 25, and some say 27 attack.

@Matt was hoping you could clarify how it would work in new source.

Hex of the beholder does not stack attack at v83 ( there was higher pre-bb versions that it did). what it should do that it wasn't in old source is:
when you use above 26 w.att potion it will not overwrite it.
for example you use an onyx apple, it will not use the 26 w.att buff. in the old source it did and that's why people couldn't max it.
basically this skill is just a self-energizer >:D
