Why has every server suck

I agree. Everyone was stoked for the new source that Royals was bringing to us. And midway through their update they start finding problems after problems after problems. It's rediculous. This is why you test the stupid source before implementing it. I know we've got smarter developers than that. I mean you've been testing out the betas for half a year to a year. Now you've not only ruined the new source but dragged the Royals community with it.

 

My ONLY issue is my new page is benched till the CS opens because it's getting impossible to level and I need to MP wash my AP so I can start adding strength D:

The new source is still stronger than the old source, and having a couple thousand people crash test it is how they find the bugs that the small number of beta testers didn't.

I'd be curious to know though, I'm sure voting rates have stayed close to the same for the server, and I know the shoutbox has been just as active, if not more active.

 

Should've crash tested it before instead of making the clients/players the piggys for testing.

Do you know how long it would have taken for those 5 people to test EVERYTHING, let alone how impossible it is to test without massive amounts of people just messing with stuff in game? The issues found within beta testing are not the same issues that we are seeing when the game went live, it's everything else. And as far as I know, the CS, FM, character creation, those aren't glitched out, they're disabled on purpose till the game is more complete.

What's with all the over exaggerations like 20 Chaos Scrolls in 1 million NX? It's hard to take your feedback serious when you keep throwing memes at us.

 

Let's see. 2 months of voting is equivalent to 480k nx. In another 2 months you don't fix the server everyone should have roughly 800-900k nx. Use your brain

Well, we all have to admit the new source is more reliable in general. I was playing only like 2 weeks with the old source so I don't know much about it, but there was one thing that pissed me off the most and it is the constant random DC's I was getting. Every 15-30 minutes I got DC, maybe every hour if it was my lucky day. If I really hit the jackpot, maybe hour an a half or so. But I have NEVER been logged on for 2 hours or more. It didn't bother me THAT much because I was low level, but I can't imagine how it would be to Zak/HT with that issue. I bet if the GMs were getting a dollar for each warp request, they could buy the whole planet for themselves.

Empty FM+no stores/no scrolling/no CS sucks though, especially if you have joined just before the new source so you are stuck with noob unscrolled gear (and I don't feel like buying any because everything is going to drop in price once the mass gaching begins). But it's temporary and most of the players will come back with CS/registration+char creation enabled again. Scrolling needs to be fixed though

 

And honestly? You're not even giving constructive feedback. You're just whining and moaning about the server not being in the state you (and everyone else) wishes it to be. It's not like we want the server to be in this state. It's not like Kevin hasn't been working day in and day out for 10+ hours per day on coding.

 

Wont get 20 cs if you dont gach at Mushroom Shrine.

Seems like this thread is just another one of those complaint threads.

Feedback is good, but this thread is just straight up bitching. It was an entertaining read, but I don't think there is an actual discussion going on in this thread.
