Hello! It's been a while since I last played Maplestory and I figured, why not join a private community? So I made an account here, on the forums.... but I can't make an account for the game! T.T Does anyone know when I will be able to make an account? Thank you.
Welcome to Royals! Registration is not available yet. You'll have to wait. No one knows when it'll be available.
I can understand if you're not satisfied with the server in it's current state, but please do not go around telling people what our focus is on if you don't actually know what our plans are. Character creation and Account registration are both high on our priority list and will likely be worked on shortly after the upcoming update. However we don't really give ETA's at this point because updates can be delayed due to critical bugs and potential exploits, as those have a higher priority than upcoming features.
I'm sure he was only really meaning that it may take a while and if I was just waiting around I'd get bored, and don't worry I plan to check periodically and see if I can register .
so staff doesn't reply to the OP's post about when the server will be up but responds when they feel threatened about their server? seems like u guys like to ignore all the questions that u guys don't wanna answer because it pushes people away from the server but when u hear something u don't wanna hear u immidietly get all defensive about it?? you guys don't wanna answer his question because u know registration is probably months away or even a year at this rate. Stop wasting people's time telling them to wait for u guys, the best option is to play a new server. "character creation will be open shortly?" my ass prove me wrong please. i'm sure everyone on this server doesn't need someone telling them that this shit isn't gonna come up for another few months unless they're new so might as well tell them right? obviously staff wont tell anyone this and just keep saying "coming shortly" because u wanna milk the votes from anyone possible look i appreactiate ur guys effort and im sure ur working v hard but lets be real u and i both know that shit isnt coming anytime soon and that's fine but pls don't say shit like soon to keep people from leaving and wasting there time. i may not know ur priorty list but seriously if coming soon is almost 4 months and cash shop's "coming soon" said it was a few days and now a week, u can clearly see this is a repeated pattern of your "coming soon" and it will be no different from character creation. THIS IS FACT
I honestly don't feel threatened neither obliged to answer to anything, but if I do reply then it's a choice I made because I likely wanted to provide clarity about a certain subject and that's all. I'm no person to tell people to wait for us if they don't find the wait worthwhile, I've never done so and I never will and you should know that. If things are going poorly for us I won't be one to deny it, and in this case I won't either. The cash shop update has taken way more time than I would've personally liked to have seen put into it, but it is as it is and there's not much I can do about it. I'm not a coder so what I can do for the current update is very limited, however I do still have a voice that matters and thus I did actively fight for character creation and account registration to be the next planned update. That's because I still care about you guys in the community, despite all the negativity everyone throws at us (for valid reasons of course, but it's still painful to read at times). So if you tell me that we don't have these functions on our focus, it conflicts with what I fight for everyday and that is why you get to hear from me. And thus the sole reason for this reply is that I wanted to clarify that we do want to bring character creation and account registration back as soon as we can after this update, but like I said I'm no coder so I can't tell you when I expect it to actually be here. Furthermore, if you truly believe that it's going to be months or a year until that update, then you are free to believe that. I most certainly hope for us all that your prediction will be miles off, and if it isn't I might apologize to you one day for what I've said today. But that's about all I can say about it for now, the cash shop is a way bigger coding project than character creation so I personally highly doubt it will take as long, but I can understand your reasons for believing it could.

Been 5 months or so, might wanna try it in another 5 maybe we can register at that time. Eta 22 September, in the meantime do whatever.
Same boat. Been waiting for a couple of months now. Check to see if they have said anything on the updates and nada... feelsbadman.
