Error code: -2147467259

I have updated drivers/disable anti virus, close various programs (skype, steam, etc) and reinstall twice. I still get the same code

 

same error here.
downloaded the game today, tried all the solutions i could find, none worked.
i use windows 8, btw.

 

drivers updated, programs closed, lulwut, nothing works. while changing compatibility mode i receive two different codes: -2147221008 and -2147467259

 

Same error -2147467259, same procedure and nothing. Reinstalled, downgraded, compatibility, program shutdown, virus erased, cut firewall, lost files. System restart several times. I do not know what to do.

 

I'm having the same problem over here. I tried everything from reinstalling the game to updating drivers/Graphics card. I was playing just fine right before the update too. =/

  You can open the programs again after launching the game

I knew a few people that had this before, 1 person uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked.
Another updated GFX driver and it worked.
I saw a thread on Basil that mentioned running on certain bit systems could also affect it

 

Tried all of the above and still doesn't work. My mapleroyal for VMware works fine, not really my ideal way of playing mapleroyal.

Hey guys i fixed my issue. Try going to properties on mapleroyals and go to compatability and setting it to run on 640x480 screen resolution.

it works but the graphics beyond ugly looks like a bunch of cubes, any way to fix this or make window smaller

My problem was solutions by resolution chance at 800x600. Problem fixed =)

 

Same problem here, and no solution helps..

 

A Solution that worked for me:
Try changing your screen resolution to other resolutions (I've changed it from 1920x1080 to 1600x900 and it worked).

 

Doesn't work for me :S

 

Same here.....I have latest driver and nothing running in background, still no soluation.
