So recently Ive noticed a lot of heat over Gachapon, and I know Matt has been hard at work revamping it. However, what about taking Gach tickets out from CS completely. Making them an only mob drop ( With a slight droprate increase) and event prize, to help keep the economy stimulated by the items these create, you can add some of the more valuable items to PQ rewards, ie Narcs WS and Chaos among other items. Just a thought ..if voting suffers from this too much yo7 can just reimplement purchasable tickets. Thoughts?
So after 1 guy had a somewhat lucky gach run, you now want the gachapon tickets deleted? the main form of currency in this server? even though you know there will be a gacha revamp coming? umad men ~~
@KingPin Thats not what Im saying at all. If you noticed I mentioned the fact that there will be a gach revamp, so I did not want gach removed entirely. So, I offered other means to gain Gach tickets. Secondly, if you have ben keeping up with the forums it is not just one person's Gach run, but the system as a whole that's been upsetting people. Third, Gach is not a fom of currency, it is however the largest factor in stimulating the economy. Regardless, I love Gach, and this was just a suggestion intended for discussion.
Making them a mob-only drop would put those who largely train on Bigfoot rather than Leafre mobs at a disadvantage, because they would have to choose between their most efficient form of levelling and getting a reasonable number of gacha tickets, or would have to no-life it, farming and grinding, whereas Skele grinders (for example) would be able to get gacha tickets while grinding.
I don't think this would do much. Mobs drop nx now and you can buy gacha tickets with that nx. So every 1k nx you pick up equals 1 gacha ticket. If you take them out of the CS and have a higher rate of gacha ticket drops, its the same thing basically. I like it the way it is now.
He is right though, gachapon SHOULD NOT, be the main form of currency (way of making money) in ANY server.
I don't market much and have never use a white or chaos scroll so maybe my opinion isn't the best indicator of the general consensus, but what about making some of the more desirable items drops in the final part of the Guild Party Quest (where you get to break the boxes)? You need a mix of high and low levels (at least one under 30), people too low level for the boss fight can hide in the balcony and still make it to the end, and it would make people actually do the GPQ.
