Hello stopper farmers. im really lazy response to like a "Hello, are you there?" https://puu.sh/vHiVQ/28f21579b1.png https://puu.sh/vHiWR/66a6888975.png https://puu.sh/vHiVt/223b0a4eb5.png (not a 1st time, I got request for response before this a lot, but looks like a same case) of cource, my rebuff is all by myself, so Im not a botting. I guess, some person is randomly attempting botting check for "no reason" at voodoo like a police. I know some peoples did botting at voodoo, and banned them but lazy, too lazy to response. my reported case are them https://royals.ms/forum/threads/botting.81496/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/botting.80805/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/botting.79994/ these all botters does spamming skill (heal and etc), so i thought botting then I attempt check a bot or not. You should make reason for why you thought botting! sorry this thread is just a complaining. cya.
I agree with this comment. I sometimes notice that some players try to ksing ur voodoo map without asking u and observe ur reaction(to test u r a botter or not). Fortunately,i always multi-client when farming stoppers,so those 'police' can't do anything to me.
It won't hurt to reply though, better to cover yourself than be checked by a staff and wasting his/her time. Sometimes I accidentally KSed someone because their char was out of my visible range.
I would be happy to reply and to see ppl checking. They help us kick out the botters so that our stoppers would be more valuable in the market. Ppl like this guy who tried to frame others are not welcome tho: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/botting.89316/
If you're too lazy to reply to someone coming in your map, there's no way for them to possibly know that you're actually there. That's why we use that as a guideline for reports. Take the minute to say "yes, I'm here" and go back to whatever you're doing. Like you did in the screenshots posted. However, someone going out of their way to "bust people" is petty. Not everyone is botting at voodoos. AFK summon farm is fine as long as you're there to respond to someone when you rebuff. When you rebuff/re-cast your summon multiple times without responding, that's when we'll assume botting.
Yes. This *mostly* applies to boss maps ie: anego, bigfoot, manon. But it also applies everywhere else, it just happens most often with boss maps. Though I dont see how that's relevant with the botting topic - wrong thread maybe? lol
I've heard more than one person say "I couldn't be bothered to reply and got reported for botting." Really? I'm the most asocial person you'll never meet because I'm hiding, and even I'd rather say "not botting, need anything for proof?" than get mistakenly banned and have to iron things out later. A stitch in time saves nine.
@Sila Just wanted to point out that one of the reasons people will check if people are botting at voodoos is because there's so many people using multiple clients that it can be hard to get a map at times. Like in Muya's post, they have 3 clients at once.
Robotic Play - The act of engaging in robotic or automatic play which allows any character you own to function autonomously or affect any portion of the game without your presence. To further elaborate, you're basically "playing" without being physically there (putting something heavy to cast a spell, e.g. to spam heal) or if you are physically there, using a program to control your character (e.g. the program will automatically buff every X minutes).
As long as you are there to re-cast the summon yourself, you aren't botting by farming with a summon. Botting would be if you had a program automatically resummon it for you every 160 seconds, or if you had a key held down to spam it/spam skills while you went away from the computer.
