Issue: Cannot get past login screen - Possible MAC ban on account. Character Name: Nang Additional Information: My account was recently unbanned (after a wrongful ban) but I still cannot log in, as the login button stays pressed. I did manage to get past the login screen for the first time today at my friend's house, but I saw that all channels were empty and when I tried to select my character, the connection broke off. Back home, login button stays pressed. How to fix this?
So you don't get a message saying you are banned? Just want to make sure a few things, are your files up to date? I'm not sure if that is why you're having problems, but with outdated files it could be an issue. If you have updated files, try restarting your computer, a friend of mine had a similar problem, not the exact same, but all she had to do was restart computer and it worked.
Thanks for the suggestion. The message saying I'm banned is gone, but the login button stays pressed. I've installed the latest download, so that shouldn't be it. Restarted PC a few times, but doesn't seem to work.
Did you try re-installing the game too? and try reset your internet by turning off your router if you use one.
Just re-installed the game and reset internet multiple times, but the problem persists. Could it be a character-specific problem, that has to do with the ban/unban?
Tried with my 4G data connection instead of home wifi, and now login is succesful, but cannot get past character selection screen (server connection broke). Also, all channels appear to be empty when logging in. Any ideas?
Problem remains unsolved as now. When I connect my PC to a different wifi, I can get passed by the login screen, but all the channels appear empty. When I select my character, the connection breaks off.
The way the channels look on your screen is correct. The channels are not coded properly to population, so that is not an issue. Also, that SS you showed in your last post, the world screen is wrong, make sure your files are up to date and use the wifi that got you to character selection screen when you run after downloading new files. The most recent files to download was on May 20th. Let me know what happens.
