I used my friend's SE mule who quit a long time ago to do Krexel. I am making an appeal because this case was seen as major abuse, but I see it as minor abuse. Yes, I admit that I account shared and knew of the consequences, and my actions are not justified, but I did it because of character creation being disabled for 6 months. I will be honest, I had access to his account for many months before I used it, but I didn't use it because I didn't want to break the rules. But with new source, so few people were on, and it was sometimes very hard to find a SE person at all, so I succumbed to temptation and used it to krex. However, the reason I think this is a case of minor abuse is because yes, I used it for personal gain for exp. However, I never once used it as a negative factor for anyone else, I never used it to gain more event items, never used it as a mule to hold items, never used it to SE friends because they needed SE, I only used it to do bosses by myself. I only used it as a SE mule for myself. I never wanted to put other's at a disadvantage and because of that, I feel this is a case of minor abuse, and not major. I love this server, and I made a mistake, I don't want that to jeopardize what I've built on this server for so long. I want this to be the best server out there, and I feel my presence on the server is a positive one, even though I broke the rules this once, but prior to this, I have never broken a rule, and this is my first ban. If you can please find it possible to see where I am coming from, thank you.
What we consider as a minor infraction of this rule is very limited to logging in on the account, talking and walking around and not much more than that. With that said I'm afraid your case is not something we can consider as a minor infraction of the account sharing rules, as you've gained a competitive advantage by breaking these rules to obtain a buff you normally wouldn't have had. The way you've presented yourself in this ban appeal you may not agree with this judgement, but the facts are that you've killed your bosses faster with this SE buff than you would've without, and thus you've gained an advantage over players who were in the same situation as yourself. And as we strife for this server to be equally fair to all players, we will have to treat you the same way as we would any other player, positive presence or not.
