here maybe some player have the problem too. when doing cake event dc and go back other cc or same can't get reward. I know that might prevent some player always enter event when boss gonna die. but recently I always dc and no reward. so its any possible can fix this problem?
We're hoping to look into and fix the d/c issues overall soon, but I've not had that much issue d/cing in cake. Maybe one out of 4 runs one of two of my chars will d/c but it's not that many. Do you have a weak connection to the game maybe?
I think my connection is stable. The d/c only happened at cake event map. in normal area it won't happen
I have got the same problem. Generally I don´t dc during grinding, but during cake its at least 50% of the time where i dc at least once. That is with one client open, not sure whether that has any added value?
Nothing to do with weak internet connection.. is the dc meme the server is facing since the source update.. the only thing i can suggest is decrease the hits needed to get the reward, so when you find a ch with a cake that is almost dying you have enough time to do the required hits.
Or always allow ppl who were in the room once to come back. This way we can rejoin our room even if its full after our dc which will allow hits to count. Not sure whether it is possible to implement though.
Great.... dced again twice at 2 different ch's where cake boss was about 5-10% of his health... Can't there be something like a hit counter? Because right now its really depressing to cake without mules. If you get multiple mules, theres a pretty high chance you'll atleat finish cake with 1 character.
We're going to look into some possible changes to make it a little easier to at least get back in on a different channel. the d/c issues can't be helped until they get looked into...which will have to be after the rollback issue is found and fixed. The event lasts for 2 months, so you've got time on your side.
If you DC and you log back in to the same channel, and do some dmg to the cake, you will still get the present. Just keep trying to get in.
... the thing is dat i usually dc near the end , atleast after half the health is gone. I could either try to nonstop click in the hope someone else dcs or try another ch.
