Error Code?

When I try to launch the .exe file, I get a popup that says:
error code: -2147024809 (The parameter is incorrect)

Can't get on. /:

 

Did you run the setup with your antivirus disabled?

 

same problem here...I do all the usual log in steps but when I select character I get kicked out...I was going to fm when this happened if that helps.

 

Do you have the latest setup from our website which contains the latest WZ files?

 

The game just froze for me so I tried relogging. Then this error also popped up.

This guide is for people with WINDOWS 8 ONLY!


1.) Find the 'CaptivatedStory client, technically where your maplestory v62 folder is.

2.) Right click 'CaptivatedStory and click Properties (it should be the last one)


3.) A window will show up, click the tab that says Compatibility


4.) Change all the settings to the following


5.) Click Apply and start Mapling, Enjoy!
