Ive been positive about royals , ive been a royals player for a long time , until most of the sources that ruined the game , anyways , after those sources I couldn't log in cause a lot of problems , such as Error codes and such , so I said alright , ill give you some time to fix it , but that's enough. I just Reinstalled , Deactivated my anti-virus , Updated all my drivers on my gtx 1060 , and did all the compatibility sht or whatever it is , the only way Royals works is if I run it on 640 x 480 and its just not playable. everytime I try to log in I get the Error code -2147467259 (unspecified error) , this error exists too much time , and no one seems to give it a good solution, and we have so much discussions about it In the Israeli community , I don't get it , do u ban Israel from playing or something but u don't admit it? or this error is something unfixable? I'm honestly tired of trying to come back to the game , and even my friends quit cause of it , nothing helps , Not the troubleshooting guide on your site either. any gms , moderators , tech's that can help once and forever with this problem I would appreciate it , I wanna enjoy mapleroyals again , but , I just cant. ty in advance. -Frustrated Player.
I have a friend, who receives the same kind of error code and has tried to solve it in every possible way (or so I'm told). However, he lives on the west coast of North America instead. It may not be a regional thing, but I could be wrong. Some advice from a staff member sounds like it's needed for something like this.

Can you check if your screen's refresh rate is set correctly? Some players solved it by setting the refresh rate to 60Hz when their default was 59Hz. Gz for him , but I really wanna see him fixing that problem. windows 10 ive done it and like I said , playing like that isn't playable , its not fun and theres still lots of problems with it.
I did change to 60hz earlier today and still no success , its seem like a huge problem without any exact steps on how to fix it. I tried everything. I just don't know what to do anymore.
Do you use a multiple monitor set-up? Can you post a screenshot of your computer information from DirectX Diagnostic Tool? To do this please type dxdiag into the windows search at the bottom left, open dxdiag and then take screenshots of the System & Display tabs.
like u see its on 59hz , but it automatically refreshes it after I change to 60 anyways so , either way even if its on 60 its not working... , but as far as I read even when it says 59 after u changed to 60 it stays on 60 or 59.94
I have a GTX 1060 too. Wasn't able to open the game normally either. This is what I did: Make sure you have NVIDIA control panel 100% working (it wasn't for me, some strange GTX 1060 software glitch) and use these settings: http://puu.sh/wi5Ky/1f4d40fa29.png I think the 'Perform Scaling on' set to Display is what gets rid of the error.

ok guys , I came to the last conclusion , there is no way to fix it , or there will be a way in the future but till then what u need to do is : step 1 - right click on mapleroyals.exe step 2 - untick run this program in compatibility mode step 3 - tick run as administrator , disaple dpi , reduce color mode , run in 640x480 step 4 - when u log in click alt + enter since u unticked the compatibility the black screen crashes between portals shouldn't happen. I combined 2 guides that will fix both problems , cause usually when u run at 640x480 ull get the black screen bugs , but if u untick the compatibility then it will be fixed. ty guys for ur help , I do think that u need fix it either way @Matt @yarin @Dimitri
