Hey just got into the server yesterday and I love it. Been playing GMS since beta and stopped around big bang so the nostalgia is kicking in. A couple of quick questions for a noob like me, where can I get better throwing stars? Another question is, are there any commands or npcs that I should know about? Finally any suggestions you guys personally have? Thanks and I hope to see you all in the game!
Your best bet, honestly, is saving up a few million mesos at a time, going to Free Market Ch 1, and advertise that you're buying Ilbies. They sell for 1m-1.5m a set. No commands you should know about, really, and two important NPCs to know about now are Cake Boss Daniel and Gaga. They're the NPCs for the anniversary event and can be found in almost every big town. My main suggestion would be to focus on your own character's growth and development and try not to compare to higher levels. Play around and have fun.
Gaga allows access to an event map known as Maple Hill, inside of which is the Maple Hill Tree. It takes 200 sunshine to get into the map. Those 200 sunshine are "donated" to the progress of growing the tree. Inside Maple Hill, you may donate, if you wish, extra sunshine separate from the 200 already donated. All sunshine donated helps the tree grow. When the tree is fully grown, Golden Leaves are dropped. You may only pick up one golden leaf. Exit Maple Hill and exchange the golden leaf for a random "prize." There are a few valuable items you can get from doing so, such as 100% Event scrolls. The 4s are anniversary candles. You can trade in certain amounts of candles to Gaga to receive certain items, like an exchange. Candles are tradeable, so many people buy and sell them to get the items they want. The particularly valuable items you can get from the exchange are untradeable, so many candles are needed if you wish to get those items on multiple characters. Hope that helps!
All throwing stars worse than ilbis are usually just npc'd so you could probably get some for free if you smega or something.
