application deletes itself

    happens every few days, it's not a firewall or av issue, and i have it safe listed anyway

    the shortcut deletes and when i go in the folder the application is also deleted

    having to uninstall completely than reinstall every time

    any fix?

    Been there. It is your antivirus that deletes the .exe file

    but i added the application to be safe listed and it still deletes, and it never used to happen before. idk if it was because of the recent windows 10 update or the may 20th client update

    Probably. Sometimes my windows update will screw my settings of the antivirus and I would have to install again. What I normally do is disable antivirus> install>mark the folder as exception on antivuris> save and reboot pc

    Either way, it's still your AV deleting it. Turn it off/put it in gaming mode/create an exception for that folder.

    You have to add the whole folder as an exception in your windows defender. Most of the time people just make it the game file alone & it deletes shit that you need.
