Closed Cant Login, Unable to log in, potentially banned.

Character name: I have no characters yet
Last thing I did: Never logged in
Ban message when attempting to log in: None
I believe i may have been automatically ban for whatever reason

I think I may be banned because these are tell tale signs of a ban. For some reason when I attempt to log in the log in button goes grey and nothing happens. Every button works except no message shows up and I cannot click log in again. I just created my account today and I don't understand why this is occuring. I honestly have no idea. I have never played this server before, nor is there anyone else in my household that would have played a maplestory private server.

 

Is my IP going to be unbanned? I would like to get a good synopses of all the v83 private servers before I commit to one and I've read a lot of great things about this server, so I would like to personally try it. If I am going to remain banned please let me know, and out of curiosity I would like to know what exactly my IP is banned for.

I have not played this server at all. Is there a listed reason for the ban or a date? I do have friends that come over my house and play private servers but that hasn't happened for months. I wasn't aware that I was even banned until you had told me. I was looking online for a resolution to my situation, thinking I may have installed the program incorrectly, and one of the potential causes listed was being banned. The reason I created this post was to find out if I was or not.

 

Its to my understanding that the rule is I'm guilty until proven innocent. How am I supposed to prove my innocence if there is no specified reason for my ban? Wouldn't your system record the reason and date of a ban on a specific IP address if it were actually meant to be banned?

 

I will be happy to provide you with whatever information you need that I have available but I am not sure what else I could say to convince you otherwise. I'm assuming that the ban is only applied to my IP address so hypothetically I can access the game from an alternative internet connection, such as an internet cafe. If I do this will my account then be banned?

I'm assuming what you're getting at is I may have a recycled IP that was banned previously.

 

I've tried that, it doesn't work because although its dynamic I am assigned the same one until there is a upgrade/change in the service plan. That's what I was told on the phone the other day when I asked about resetting mine or getting a new one.

 

They said there was no way to do that unless I upgrade or cancel and resubscribe for my service. Getting the IP changed directly from the provider will cost me a good amount of time and money no matter how I go about it.

 

I contacted them again today, I was told the same thing I mentioned to you in the last post.

 

Is there any other way we can go about acquiring access the game from my home IP? I understand that you guys need evidence to remove the ban from my IP but it seems to me that I was unlucky enough to get a recycled IP that was banned or my IP was banned unintentionally. Also I checked the date of when I changed my service and got a new IP, it was 1/12/2017. As I mentioned in the previous posts, my friends came over to play maplestory private servers (not this one) but this took place in October and early November, before I had obtained my current IP.
