Hello, I am going away to Korea for around 25 days, and I was wondering if I would get banned for logging in/voting because of the different ip address or location? I'm not sure if it's a problem, but I have heard about situations like this in the past. Thanks
Just don't vote on the same account in more than 24 hours. Even with a different IP, you will still get the error message when trying to vote on an account you already have so that shouldn't be a problem. As far as playing in general, I often play at work and sometimes even at a friend's house so a different IP would only be an issue if someone else on that SAME IP already voted, got IP banned, etc. But if you are just going to a relative's house I don't see how you'd run into any problems.
I've played Royals in multiple states, and even on an airplane. Logging in from a different IP shouldn't cause a ban. However if you do get banned for some reason relating to your IP/Location being suspicious, from what I've seen in the past you can always appeal it with proof and not be penalized. I will be going to Japan in two weeks for about a month and may try to log in there from my laptop.
It's completely fine, but if you're worried just shoot a GM a pm letting them know what's going and that you're going to be playing from a different IP.
