?

What would you like to see Hex of the Beholder becoming in the future?

  1. Stay as it is; level 20 is fine and it gives a reasonable amount of buffs.

NOTE: This is just my experience on the current patch. Do not blame on me for what other people have been saying and say I'm wrong. This is just what I've been testing so far.

So recently we recieved an update for us Dark Knights, that Beholder and its Aura and Hex is fully functional:
If you'd like to read more about that patch, here's the link.

Anyways, today I'm here to talk about Hex, and specifically its attack buff it gives you. What it does is that it gives you a 25 attack buff once it's active and on max level (which is level 25.) But me and a bunch of other Dark Knights have come across that it overrides the current attack pot you're using and it's not something I'd like to see.
Instead I'd rather much see Hex of the Beholder without the attack buff and instead focusing more on a defense skill, except for accuracy perhaps.
Anything you guys want to point on what could be better with Hex of the Beholder other than what it is in the current state?

I also want to point out I have not seen any problems with Aura of the Beholder; mine's maxed out and it doesn't go over the Berserk threshold. I recorded myself walking around Haunted House, taking damage as well as standing still for a bit.

Before this gets into a whole discussion, upon release of the skill, the staff has discussed it and with the next update the hex will only override the pot if the hex is greater than the buff. So if you have a 26 watk pot and the skill gives you 25, you keep the pot's 26.

I think this will make everyone happy :)

You say it won't override, but will it stack with the att pot in the future? Example warrior elixir 12 att + beholder 25 att = 37 att?
Or will it be only 25?

It won't stack, so if you have a warrior elixir beholder will override it. But if you use a heartstopper, the stopper will override beholder instead.
