I tried everything to fix this error that it said in the stickied thread with the common problems and solutions and it didn't work. I also tried things like putting the game into compatability mode and changing the resolution. Have tried re-installing multiple times. Anyone have any other fixes for this error?
Having the same issue, used to be good until i formatted my computer, tried all kinds of setting, compatibility, admin, clean run, ccleaner clean wipe, reinstall, none works.
After browsing around the forum, i manage to find a solution that works for me, changing my screen resolution from 1920x1080 to 1600x900, amd it startup straight away.
I'm fed up with the resolution changing method and came up with another that let me stay on 1080p and still able to launch the game. Right click on desktop and select "Screen Resolution" then click on "Advanced Settings" and in "List all Modes" select the same resolution with lower hertz like from 60 hertz to 59 hertz. and my Mapleroyal client works fine ever since and rocking 1080p still.

Try use DDU ( https://www.wagnardsoft.com/) to uninstall your graphic driver totally, and reinstall, and also the problem happens to me when im on win 7 ultimate, after i upgraded to win 10 pro, it never occurred again.
