My PC detected virus on the .exe file and automatically classifies it as quarantine item. I have already tried to reinstall but this problem still hasn't resolved.

The only way to start up royals again is to switch off real time scanning which removes the protection of my pc against other threats. Is there any other solution for this?

Turn your antivirus off and add the mapleroyals map to the exceptions and redownload mapleroyals. No other way to fix it.

Edit: if you can place mapleroyals.exe back in the map you don't have to redownload and install

Hi Futak, thanks for your guide! .exe file is added into the exception list and it is running as usual now!

But one thing I am concerning is I have already played for around 2 weeks by using the same device, why this problem did not occur previously?

I wouldn't know. It's a well known fact that a lot of antivirus devices (if not all) detect mapleroyals.exe as a threat. But why that took about two weeks i don't know.

If you're not paying for McAfee, I'd say get rid of it immediately and use a good antivirus program, like Panda or Avast. Something that doesn't damage your computer like McAfee, Norton, AVG, and others will.
