MapleStory friends in real life

Have you ever met up with a friend that you've met on MapleStory in real life?

If you have, tell us the story! Short or long, doesn't matter.
Secrecy is obviously important, so make sure the other parties are okay with you sharing their story! Or use different names, or no names at all.

I'll start:

- When I was 12 (started playing GMS-beta when I was 10) I met a girl who lived about 200km away from me. We became really close friends!

- I met Sven (twice) and Aly (once) not too long ago. We strolled through Amsterdam, almost got a ticket for drinking in public, but it was worth it! They're the cutest couple in the world, too .

- My sister met up with a guy from GMS, and they actually dated for a year. He was really good at MapleStory so I eventually took over his character because he was too busy being with my sister, among other things.

Hopefully you guys have some crazy stories that you're willing to share !

 

I met Aly once.

All we wanted to do was go back and play Diablo.

Dan and I got dinner once, I met Amy once, and then I met Dan, Amy, and Robb another time for pizza. LF>Meeting more Royallers

 

I have not had the pleasure as of yet, though I imagine it can either be an incredibly awkward or fun experience depending on the person. As some of you are aware, I have recently met a girl who also lives in Minnesota, only 30 minutes away, and we plan to meet up sometime soon!

This is truly exciting, no one lives here!

 

I have yet to meet any other Royalers.
As far as GMS, I met people who played it after we introduced ourselves in class. Most of my school played Maplestory from 6th-9th grade.

However I know several Royalers who are in NJ with me, but haven't met them yet.

 

From MapleRoyals? Not yet, but I'll be visiting the UK this August... So that might change. I'm also not too far away from some other Royallers (*cough* Dustin *cough* Sven).

As for gMS... Three people. Two of them are sisters I met loooooooong ago (2008), who moved very near to me in late 2010, when I got the pleasure of meeting them. I ended up dating one of the two for almost three years. The other is still pretty much my best friend. I also met one other girl I met on gMS, who lived about 240km away from me. I went on a cycling tour with a friend and ended up spontaneously arranging a visit.

Ahhhh, I've met a couple people from Royals and they have all been amazing (for the most part, Dan's alright).

I've met Christine a couple times, she's as amazing in person as she is online, if not more. She takes me to get doughnuts and candy so I guess you could say she's a God.

I've also met Dan a couple times, and meh. He gets the job done.

I almost met Brian once, that was exciting.

One day I'm going to meet Aly and we're gonna get married.

And also this summer I plan on meeting John, Sleepysaur, Illuminate, and I can't remember who else but there's more I swear!

 

I met Aly a few times which was pretty cool and I met dus10 and he was cool guy who didnt afraid of anything

well it all started in grade 6 (I believe) I was in this guild for quite awhile we treat each other like family etc. It was nearly the end of summer school that I found out that 2 of the girls that were twins(sisters) were in my class. I didn't even know until the last week of school cause I usually don't talk about maple in real life since no one plays it in my school sadly :/ . . . anyway back to the story, we were just chilling at the park during out break and I asked them what was their IGN and when they told me their ign I was in shocked cause it really was them!! and they asked for mine seeing my reaction and they wouldn't believe that it was me because we were really good friends in game. Seeing each other in real life was actually really awesome, the next day we started chilling everywhere going out for food chilling at night la la la la yehh.. One of the best life experience

Sorry for dahh walll of text but, let's hear other peoples stories

 

Me, Joee (Chopin) and Bernard (Bulba) have met countless times IRL for movies and meal dates. It's a great perk when you live in a microscopic country. Only half an hour away!

We've also met up with a friend who came to Singapore for a short holiday. Pls guys Singapore is not just an airport.

When August comes and school starts we have great plans to visit (Read: stalk/wait for) Clement (Teddie) outside his school. He'll have no choice but to hang out with us! Yay. I'll even bring my laptop so Clement can Maple while with us!

 

And tokyo philharmonic! Stalk stalk stalk.

 

i stayed at @Daniel's house with updawg (brian) and creampuffs (gm christine) in new jersey.

saw brian again for korean food in new york city with christine.
dan also brought me yummy korean fried chicken when I was sick in the city.
saw christine multiple times (we watched the hobbit).
met justin (prideful) in hollywood where we got baked and went to in&out!

Haven't met anyone on MapleRoyals. GMS? Yup. Almost got married to him. Now we're just good friends. Maple friends are the best friends tbqh

I am writing this at Sven's house on his computer so I guess you could say I met him lol.

Also hung out with Dus10 TWICE NOW and we have a fab time and his sister's awesome (I met her too, not just a random statement there).

Also also have had the pleasure of meeting Daan who's a giant but is totally cool and sexy.

Also also i met Ern like he said in the most accurate way possible lol.

Will soon meet Dan and steal Chelsea away from him then Amy and Sarah will join us and we are all going to vegas to get married. (I'm not sure they know this yet, but I'm sure they're down)
