Oh jeez. I've always liked explaining my IGNs. I've used a conglomerate over the years. odsmk 'odsmk' is the IGN I've used most frequently, and on every private server except this and the first one I joined. Originally how I came up with it was giving a few lines of random spam and 'odsmk' appeared in it. I sort of liked it, and it is easy to type. Come on, try it. odsmk odsmk odsmk odsmk odsmk. It flows so easy. It also flows out of the mouth easy, "oh dee es em kay." You can also pronounce it as odd-smick. Originally I just pronounced each letter, but then some people bothered me and I started "odd-smick" which then people started saying "odd-smuck" "odd-smack" "odd-smock". When I originally checked if odsmk meant anything it linked to the band "Godsmack". Now it links to Odesk or some company like that. People then kept bothering me about what odsmk meant, and after getting tired of explaining the spam idea, I made it an acronym. "Ordinary Days Seem More Knowledgeable" Also, it is odsmk. Not Odsmk. I f**king hate Odsmk. Don't call me Odsmk. Don't call me Ods. Or ods for that matter. Just type out odsmk. It is easy as hell. Like I said, try typing it. Flows so easy. That is because it is spam, and spam flows! Adkoe Similar to odsmk in the fact that I did random spam to find it. I used this on a few different servers as a second account and very rarely a main account. I usually used odsmk. No one really asked what Adkoe meant ever. That made me happy. Pronounced "Ad-coe" Ekul Simply my first name backwards. Luke. Ekul. Sometimes when I meet new people though I say I am from Uganda and Ekul is my secondary name, which happens to be Luke spelled backwards, which happens to be a biblical/western name so I go by that with most people. My real name is Ronaldo Ekul Oolml Odsmk. You'll learn about Oolml soon! GaIaxy GaIaxy (not Galaxy, it is a capital i instead of a lowercase L) was my first IGN on private servers. GaLaxy was taken. So I used Gaiaxy. It sounded cool and I was into astronomy at the time. Aztec I switched IGNs a few times on that first server. Aztec sounded cool and I was interested in learning about civilizations at the time. Leer This was also on that first server I played. I got on the trend of making my IGN 4-5 letters and starting with the first letter of your first name. Me and a buddy brainstormed for like 20 minutes before this gem appeared. Later I realized this is a useless Pokemon move. Meh. SampleA/SampleB/SampleC/SampleX IGN on GMS. I had others that were random things that meant nothing. I don't remember them. I was like 11 or 12. These had no real thought behind them, I just liked the look. Oolml This is one my brother used on his alternate account on RuneScape. It is an emoticon. \m/ (a sign you would make at a rock show by throwing up your pinky and index finger) edit: It is really funny hearing people try to say this one. It is simply "oo-la-mah-loo" candyseller This is a mule I had on the first private server I played. It was a joke on a dick game master named candyman. Funny quick story about him: he hated me. Like, me as in Luke. One day he made a guild called "Trolls" with two of his buddies. They dressed like snowmen and were dicks to everyone around them and acted like elitists. I was bored so I made a character (I forget the IGN) and dressed like them and sat with them til they gave me an invite. Fast forward a year or so later. candyman quit the server, and in his very sincere good-bye post he said thank you to his best friends on the server, and listed the two guys and my mule. This is hilarious because he was very open about his disgust for me, yet he considered me a best friend and had no idea.
My IGN comes from Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar or El Cid who is one of the national heros of Spain due to this campaign as commander against the Sancho's Brothers in the Kingdoms of Leon and Galicia, and against the Muslim kingdoms in Andalusia. Everything about you is tasty. What an interesting name. Two foods, one IGN. My IGNs: Persephone was the Greek wife of Hades and queen of the underworld, because I'm dark and love pomegranate seeds. Demeter was Persephone's mother and goddess of the harvest, who created the seasons after her daughter was taken away, and my character was an IL mage so totes appropriate. Zyrcophynt was the Greek god of okay this name has absolutely no meaning as far as I know, but the whole character was a tribute to my sister. She played Corsairs, she used this IGN a lot. Two plus two equal seven and a half.
AAPhox: AA = My first ever online guild, Absolute Assassins. Phox = Shortened down version of Phoenix. Phoenix = One of my favourite units in Total Annihilation (http://totalannihilation.wikia.com/wiki/Phoenix). I don't use this name much anymore. Also had AAPhoxI, AAPhoxII, and AAPhoxIll after each time I got banned for hacking in Khaini. AAPhoxIll managed to get to rank 1 before getting banned which was pretty cool... PrinceReborn: Prince = Part of my real name. Reborn = Because it was (supposed to be) my first fully legit character when was playing in Mardia years ago. Still use this name.
I like shorter, one word, names which are/were impossible to get back in GMS (specifically scania). -figured I'd post this up top as compared to saying it for each IGN. minty- I got this IGN idea in another popular server that's now shut down. Originally, I wanted 'mint' but inevitably, someone had it. I added a 'y' and thus became minty. I ended up getting the character a snowman outfit and complimentary hat and became 'Minty the Snowman'. Unfortunately in Royals, the snowman hat doesn't work so I wasn't able to replicate the outfit+hat combo like I would have wanted to. Spoiler Would have looked like this: tots- IGN idea I came up with, again in another server, with my boyfriend. He's tater, I'm tots. tater tots. Boob- Because why not? People always ask me why I'm not plural: I didn't think of it at the time. I made the character as a joke to begin with and never thought I would actually end up using it. I believe someone's taken Boob's' since. <GMS DAYS> Toastinq- There's no IGN that I've kept over the years because back in Scania/GMS it was virtually impossible to get something you actually liked. On top of that, I never stuck with one character long enough after hitting 100+. I just couldn't find a job that would keep my attention but, this character stuck with me until the end of my GMS days. I made this character's IGN 'toastinq' because it was an Evan and the main skill Evan's use is Flame Wheel which is a fire element skill. Toastin'G' was taken so I made it Toastin'Q', hence Toastinq. Flurrying- Started this with a friend, his ign was Flurriox and I decided to make mine Flurrying. I was nicknamed McFlurry. That McDonald drink. No relation to Balanced Furies. I think I got the original idea from the weather channel, of all things. Flurries. I might reuse those two IGNs in the near future so that's why I spoke of those specifically. Other IGNs: RoastTheDuck(Blaze Wizard- basically a f/p), Sanctuaries(Priest), MissDorki(Shadower), MissLoveli(NL), UrBlueWaffle(Mule, made it that IGN as a joke), Peekinq(Wild Hunter- Basically a MM with a jaguar mount you can attack from while on it) hated this ign quickly because I was referred to as 'pee king'.
