I know it was taken down ages ago, but I had one bought last year and I used it around two weeks ago and surprisingly it worked! I could use all of my pets at once, around 4 days ago I could have up to 3 pets out and now I can only use one, lol. Not really a big issue, just an inconvenience I miss my dragons!
You're missing the Follow the Lead skill that allows you to have multiple pets out at once. The quest to get that skill is fixed in the next update.
