Do Pages/Paladins need to HP wash to fight all the bosses/potential future bosses?

Hi, I was thinking about making a page/paladin, but I wanted to know if I should prepare in advance for HP washing. I'm pretty sure I dont need to, but I hear some mixed things. I heard Horntail/other bosses touch damage is so high that you cant survive without it. Anyway, I've browsed these guides:

https://royals.ms/forum/threads/sires-complete-mapleroyals-warrior-guide.8474/ says "Now for warriors HP washing isn't completely vital, but it does help a lot. It makes bossing much more comfortable and makes bezerking a lot easier for Dark Knights." This suggests to me its NOT necessary.

    https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/ says "
The only classes that NEED to HP Wash are:

    1. Assassins
    2. Archers: Bowmen and XBowmen
    3. Gunslingers
    4. Spearmen

It is recommended that you also wash Fighters, Pages, and Brawlers, but you don't NEED to in order to play MapleRoyals." This also suggests to me its NOT necessary.

https://royals.ms/forum/threads/fully-revised-hp-washing-guide.8286/ says "The class that benefits most from HP washing is warrior. HP washing is almost essential at higher levels because of the high damage by bosses. Some of these bosses would be impossible for certain jobs unless washed." This suggests it IS necessary but keyword is "almost" so I'm not sure.

Anyway, because of these mixed/ambiguous texts, its hard to tell. If anyone can give me some clarification, it'd be greatly appreciated. I am also curious of future bosses that may be added like Pink Bean and others - thoughts on if HP Washing will be needed in the future?

    Thanks.

If your main concern is about your future bossing attempts then washing abit would be playing it safe.
It's definitely not a NEED but an option, if you're funded and have the willingness to spend your mesos on washing then why not?

Not necessary at all. By 155 you'll have more than enough HP to HT. I washed my pally though because I'm insane and don't like to use a pot more than every like 5 seconds while grinding

Thanks all. Will an unwashed level 200 Paladin be able to tank all of Pink Bean's hits?

Is there anything stronger than Pink Bean btw?

Honestly, I don't know. I mean, a VERY rough low end guess is somewhere like... 14k?

I think by "benefits the most" he means that they get the most HP gain from each wash...or at least that's a way to read it. But yeah, Hero and Paladin are the two classes that actually need HP wash the least. (I wash mine for lolz tho, since you don't really need much INT to get a lot of extra hp on a warrior)

Thanks all. I'm still a bit curious - does anyone know about how much HP an unwashed level 200 paladin would have?

I honestly can't tell you.. I'm just estimating the 14k because pallies naturally get like 60 HPish every level after level like 13. They get MP boosts at some of the job advancements, not HP like heroes do.

I'm sure there's got to be a few heroes/pallys that unwashed closed to 200, they should be within a thousand or so HP of each other.

Alright, I thought it'd be near 14k. Thanks!

Sorry, another question - I just made the advancement as a warrior, and I had thought to pump some Int in just in case to have a little extra MP for potential HP Washing...but its grayed out?

Is HP Washing a warrior not possible in this new source? I can only get INT from equips now? I can only put AP into STR and Dex...?

It's greyed out but you can still add to INT. It's done so people who are new are given a small visual cue that some stats are not useful (STR on a mage is greyed out for example.)
