IGN: VVAR Issue: Missing Soul Lantern & Cannot Acquire via Quest Details: I've recently came back after a long break (since before the new source) and for some reason (i forgot how or why) my soul lantern and mallet (krexel entry items) are not in my inventory. I went to do the quests again, and only got the mallet back. for some reason, after killing capt latanica and replying the quest, i didnt get my soul lantern back. I repeated the quest yet again, and still didnt get it. As i recall, this is how you get soul lantern before the new source, is this an issue or has the method of acquiring it been changed?
If they were in your last 4 slots of inventory then they are locked in Fredrick atm. Until hired merchants are implemented.edit: just to.help clear any other missing items suspicions
Since you got your mallet back, you can now hunt Capt. Latinca to get back your soul lantern. Please note that the drop rate of it isn't 100% now. However, I can refund you a Soul Lantern if you are able to provide me with a screenshot showing that you've completed the Krexel pre-quest.
@Kai ah okay, thanks for the info. what details should the ss have to prove that i have done the pre-quest? is a krex ring enough proof?
