Welp...thats a bummer wasted my time not knowing the weapons wont be affected by the godly system, guess i should put up a post saying dont bother wasting your time doing this because its a gigantic waste of time, but i guess they can just read that here.
Not only are they not affected by the godly system, they are not even randomised and are all average like they were in GMS. Here's a video of somebody crafting an average Night Raven's Eye: If you had asked at the beginning I would have gladly told you about this, however I was unaware of your CWK exchange intentions until today. There's also nothing stopping you creating another feedback thread regarding the rewards having randomised stats (as this one seems to be directly regarding the time limit). Although at the top of my head the one downside I can see from this is the possibility of getting a below average weapon, whereas before that wouldn't have been possible.
is it possible to code the godly system or randomized stats for these weapons or no, for it to have a +5 more attack than lets say, a pyrope skanda, or is it just not possible? to be honest its the only reason why im doing this is because i thought these weapons were affected by the godly system like every other weapon, if not then i guess i can abandon all hope of ever building a successful pure luk and stop wasting my time as well as everybody elses

i guess what im getting at dimitri is, is it going to be another discussion where it get's kiboshed right away and in hopes of asking for change, or am I going to waste my time debating on why certain things should or shouldn't be added. but thank you for your input.

I understand that there have been many iterations of this quest in the different versions of MapleStory, and this looks like it was from a time when the wait time was not implemented or bugged. There is also guide mentioning a wait time and how it was bugged at some point in time: http://maplesecrets.blogspot.co.uk/2011/05/maplestory-crimsonwood-exchange-quest.html But if you look at the wider picture here; whether it did have a time limit or didn't have a time limit, or if it was bugged... this all doesn't really matter. What matters is that we do what is in the best interest of the server. Especially because this is part of some new upcoming content that many have been waiting quite a long time for on MapleRoyals. We want to make sure we are cautious when it comes to deciding how easy or hard we want things to be in the game. And because of this, at this time we feel that keeping the 24 hour wait period between exchanges will help sustain the value of certain items. And like said previously it's not even worth considering at least until CWKPQ is released, but even then, I doubt that the 24 hour limit would be removed.
yeah this makes sense, but certain things can be adjusted so certain items are made harder to obtain through the exchange without a wait timer, i could care less if it takes me my whole inventory to get 1 of these items and just mesos, but this wait timer wasn't apart of GMS from what i remember when i was playing GMS, things were just adjusted so items were harder to obtain regardless of how many badges you turned in, heres another video from GMS that was also dated 2009 pre big bang
Rather than reducing the timer maybe you could make the quest repeatable 2-3 times per 24 hour period, sort of like how Zak is? Seems like a good middle ground to me.
that would be nice, but when i was in gms, items were made a *set rate* to how often you get a jackpoted item, kinda like with red envelopes how you get a low % chance to receive a nx maple leaf, the same thing can be done here because nexon did it.
Couldn't you guys just decrease the chances of getting the taos from the quest turn in, and then remove the 24 hour wait period? I'm going to be hunting for a crushed skull and I'd like it not to take weeks after an afternoon of farming the stuff..
We could, but I don't really see why as CWKPQ will also reward Crushed Skull. Like I've said previously the exchange should simply be more of a bonus rather than a place to farm the equips from.
Some people like to grind, not PQ. I get what you're saying, but like, just reduce the drop rate of the of the badges, or decrease the chances of getting items from the exchange. I'm not looking for easy non-party access to said items, I just don't want to sit for weeks waiting to turn in said items if I spend the time to farm the badges. Not forgetting the fact that most people are doing the PQ for the Mark, not the myriad of items available from the exchange quests.
The only thing I hope is that after CWKPQ is released, the rate of getting taos from CWKPQ will be roughly the same as or just slightly higher than the CWK exchange quest, since there are also a lot of good thing in CWKPQ other than Taos. Else, it is not really fair to those who working on the taos by exchange quest since the released of balanced fury.
Thats right, lets make up changes in the favor to 0,1% of those who actually took part in badge exchanging. (being sarcastic)
for the record, even if you took part in badge exchange and they reduced the rates from chests in cwkpq, it would balance out but make the market for them a ridiculously high price, since some taos are needed for upgrading weapons, no one would spend that much on getting the weapon upgrade when they can just buy lvl 100 weps for cheaper, in gms harmony was made the one hardest to obtain, while sight and shadow were the easiest ones to get for raven weapon upgrades, the gms rates being lowered,you could do the exchange as many times as you wanted as long as you had the badges for them, in gms the badges were hard to obtain, around 1 badge an hour sometimes longer, but even at cwk exchange rate i doubt the rates through the pq will be any better as ive been doing this for 7 months now going on 8 on multiple accounts, still dont have them yet, even with friends helping, so if your going to try this yourself i say good luck if you have the patience for it, only reasons why more people aren't doing is is because of this time limit as i predicted, but this isnt supposed to be a reliable source for these items *even though is was in og gms*but it still wont change the mind of the person in charge so who cares, you cant build an economy on something that should have been out long time ago in the first place. just my opinon, *this isn't gms*
you said it before. restricting how you obtain the tao's so much really hurts the actual content of crimsonheart and those raven weapons. matt said back in february that cwkpq should be the way of tao's, that was 4 months ago. there is no communication on when certain updates will come out so it could be another few months before ckwpq comes out. i feel for the time being something should be done to the exchange quest. aka no time restriction or higher drop rate
