Why ban players just to get them to update files? Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. What happens then if a person doesn't come on forums hence doesn't know about the update and thinks that they're genuinely banned? Incompetent admins.

I find it insulting that you called us unprofessional and inconsiderate, with respect to the aforementioned information. It is not our duty to ensure that you read the latest happenings of the game, but your responsibility to do so. So, blame your incompetence for not reading the announcements (which was posted on both website/forum). Not to mention we even broadcasted it countless times in-game, as well as having a scrolling message at the top of your screen for days.

Now, if you wish to get unbanned, update your files, take a screenshot of the folder and show is to us. Else, you'll remain permanently banned.

 

No, it is definitely not your duty to ensure that players are updated on recent happenings. But if you were a good operator/GM/admin, you'd put convenience and player's experience above all (including your ego).

So what if you mention it countless times or put info of the update on scrolling messages if at the end of the day, none of us (players) know anything about it? Look at how many of us are making ban appeals now for the same reasons.

And I can't be arsed what your terms and conditions says, all I'm saying is that if this is how you are getting people to update their game client, you're doing it too aggressively and you're chasing valuable users away. If quoting phrases from terms and conditions is all you can do, then I rest my case - you are incompetent and inconsiderate.
