Stat question

hey there

so, I got tired with my lvl 90 dragon knight and wanted to create a ranged character instead.
but, the dex equips from my old character seems like a waste.
my friend recommended that I still use those equips on my new gunslinger (yeah, I plan to create a gunslinger cuz guns are cool)

so my question is: does it make a difference if I get some of my dex from equips and put some base stat on str instead?

It mostly doesn't matter. You will lose a little dex from maple warrior because mw uses the base stat, but its not significant.

another question though, won't that hurt my damage later on?

 

You always have the option of using AP resets to swap around your base strength later on if you get to the point where your equips get good enough that you don't need it anymore. So I guess just play how you want to & have fun with it

 

Not very much. If you have maple warrior 10 on normally, and you have 40 extra points in your main stat because of your equips, you;re missing 2 extra points of your main stat. Very minor.
