IGN: EpikHigh Last thing you did: I'm using a Mac. On a Mac, there is an application called automator that can record what you're doing in a time frame and repeat it. Since I was literally just shooting at the same place 24/7 in GS2, I thought, "Why dont I just use automator to repeat what I'm doing?" Now, this was clearly a wrong decision as this is another form a macro and a bad way to play the game. My summer is getting ruined without this and I'm in full regret. I'll never even attempt to use a macro. It is completely my fault, and my misbehave, however since I'm very new to this channel, and my use of macro wasn't extensive at all(it was my first time trying it out), I would love to have my IP unbanned. Thanks so much. Why do you think you got banned?: For using a macro that I thought was not a macro at first. This is a fundamental violation of the rules in playing a fair game and I did a wrong thing. Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been banned for using a macro / auto-keyboard. You can login after July 12th 2014th 11:18am. What GM banned you (optional): I do not know as I was not with my computer at the time I got banned.
As you said, you were botting/macroing and as such, your ban will not be lifted until the ban period has ended.
Do you know why my brother can't play? We're using a router, is that why? I deserve to be banned but my even my brother can't login(my bro's account is not banned, it just says that "you're blocked from conection."
When you are banned, your IP address is banned so any other accounts playing under the same IP address are banned as well.
Yeah I have no problem with that. However my brother's computer has a different IP and even if he makes a new account to play(on his computer, it says it's banned. Is it because of the router? I'm fine with my account and my sub-accounts being banned, but my brother has a different computer, a different account, a different IP address but it still won't work. I have no problem with my ban but he has done nothing wrong and I don't want to take fun away from him.
That is just what happens when one person gets banned. We can't make exceptions for 'brothers' or real brothers unfortunately.
Ok. I'm just confused because if it's an IP ban, wouldn't only my computer get banned? I thought my brother's computer would have a different IP. It's fine though, thanks.
IP-address = Internet Protocol address. Every device connected to your home network has the same public IP. Hence why no one on your network will be able to play until the ban is lifted.
