I'm curious as well. Everytime I ask somebody they just say "omg he's such an asshole". And when they finally answer my question it's always the Zak incident.
Apart from the Zak incident there was 1. being an asshat at anegos 2. acting TOTALLY different in front of GMs vs. in front of people he doesn't recognize as GMs/civilians/plebs 3. killing noobs using monster sacks And since everyone probably wouldn't want to read a wall of text, I'm going to put it in a spoiler. Spoiler The anego bit was a while ago and actually the first time I met Neilson. So the server was reset a few hours ago and anegos had respawned, so I go around looking for a few. Run into him, and the following conversation ensues "Ohey haven't seen you around before " [no response] "So which channels have you done?" "Why should I help you?" "Excuse me?" "Why should I tell you which channels" "Um.. so that I won't go to them?" "Have you ever helped me before?" "Um.. no, this is the first time I've met you." "So why should I help you? I only help people who've helped me." "Kbye." The second bit happened while Gi, Dan and I were hanging around Kerning for some reason. Being a GM, naturally Gi gets flooded with questions from new players. There was this one brat who constantly bugged Gi even after Gi had answered his question, and Neil (very surprisingly) told him something along the lines of "Look, the GM is busy. Why don't you wait?" Maybe you could pin this on Neilson having a good day vs. Neilson having a bad day when the Zak incident occurred, but note that Annie, Laz, and Dan (I think?) were all there on their legit characters, and still demanded HS even though it meant that the higher-leveled attackers would be lacking. IMO he's a two-faced brat who's nice to people only when it's convenient for him. And the third bit happened around Kerning. Basically a bunch of low-levels were there to KPQ, and he decides it's a good idea to use some high-level summoning bags. Not once, but four times. That is to say, he summoned one, let them kill the nibs, and killed the summoned mobs, a grand total of FOUR times. Just dickish behavior if you ask me.
You can talk lifting with me, as long as I didn't misunderstand and you were talking about face lifts, then I'm no good.

There are only two people who've made my blood boil on this server, both being two-faced pricks. I had the misfortune of running into this guy after already hearing what a (add x ammount of censors for bad words) he was, and yet I didn't judge him based on the tales of others and just wanted to see for myself what kind of a guy he was. It didn't even take 20 seconds before I got to see his true nature, and that was AFTER hearing things so I ceartainly didn't wanna spite him in any way. I don't care if celebrating his departure makes me as bad as him, I'm doing emotional back flips cheering about his dismissal, I don't mind expressing my hatred towards people I genuinely believe deserve it. /endrant
well that's you. i've never seen this guy ingame so before i talk bad about someone if i have to. i want to get to know them.
I respect that, and I'm just like you, basing my views on this guy from my own experiences. And based on the purpose of this thread, I'm not alone with those thoughts.
