Hi, I'm Revan, and yes that's my real name! So like most of you, I played MapleStory growing up. I started when I was 14, and I'm almost 24. In 2007, I was banned from GMS for logging in on vacation overseas and they told me I can't share my account. Even though it was me, they claimed that since the IP was outside the USA it violated their terms. This is when Nexon was a nice company mind you. Anyone remember Wizet!? So, I ended up on a private server. Then I made my own server (DstroyerMS) and ran it for about 2 years. Ahh the memories. We started with v62, and had imported Pirate Class before it was even released on GMS! I eventually got a hold of Moogra's official v83 source (the actual MoograMS trunk), and I've been working on it ever since. Probably the most stable source I've ever worked with. If you don't know who Moogra is, he was the forefront of private server coding/releases and once ran the number one server in the world. Needless to say the private server community somewhat died in 2009-2010, and we shut down when we barely had 100 players still active. So 4 years have gone by, and my childhood memories kicked in. "What's going on with MapleStory these days?", I asked myself. Sure enough, it made me sick. Top Google results are "We miss old MS!" or "Nexon ruined MS" (no surprise there). I did some homework...30 classes!? Over 1 million damage!? Horntail can be solo'd and killed in 5 seconds!? I didn't believe my eyes. So I went on YouTube to look and see if private servers were still around, and I found you guys! From the looks of everything, you're doing very well, low rates, and at least 250 players are online right now as I'm writing this. I'm not going to even bother getting into why I won't download the new MS, I'd rather relive my childhood for another year or two. Unfortunately I probably won't be in game for at least 2 weeks (no internet at home), but I'll try to get to know some of you on the forums beforehand. I'll most likely apply to develop for you guys, because I just love coding, and I don't want my (adapted from Moogra) source or scripts to just sit on a flash-drive forever. Like I said it's probably going to take two weeks. I just paid my rent so I'm next to being broke. I need to buy a 100ft ethernet cable to run from the router upstairs to the desktop computer in my basement (which is almost 1$ a foot!!!!). I think a wireless usb adapter won't have enough strength, it's much cheaper, but I'd rather hardline. I bypassed all the firewalls at work (which is easy when you helped set them up in the first place ) so I might be able to sneak on at work once this client finishes downloading. Shhhhhhh

Remarkable, Moogra's sources are a work of art. I had a v55 source I believe but that disappeared after my computer fell to a virus and is now probably recycled metal now.
Any source these days is like finding gold. Finding a real one, not just another repack of a repack of a repack...is next to impossible.
