Aren't pretty much all donor items v83+? We are already not a pure v62 server, why not add these goggles? Perhaps making them have no stats would be better, I'm not sure what they originally come with.
Well yeah the donor items are v62+ but they are just cosmetic which is why they were added. These are not in the data afaik.
They don't come with much to begin with: STR (0-2?) and DEX (0-2?). They hold real value if they're chaos'ed well. EDIT:Adding them with no stats would make them a cool addition but, they'd only serve a novelty-item purpose.
Spectrum Goggles would be a nice addition. I mean, we have content of v83+, and Spectrum Goggles are, in no way, OP. On the contrary, they don't give INT, which would serve as just a tiny rebalancing of the jobs IMO. Has to be added, though, which requires new .wz files. :c @Christine, they give speed, too.
Didnt they come out along with CWKPQ? They look like the glasses from Relik (or at least one of the PQ bosses, I forgot which)
If the staff ever has intentions to add CWKPQ in the future (their next big update/project past Ulu&ToT), spectrum goggles should be exclusive to that CWKPQ update(?). Especially since: It is Relik (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Maybe they could drop in-place of the Mark of Narricain if the Marks are deemed too OP to be added? If I'm not wrong each boss drops 1 MoN, so that would be 4 goggles per run instead. Godly goggles with 5 DEX and above would help low dex thieves, for one.
MoNs aren't overpowered. The CWKPQ run itself isn't going to be that easy to do, I think it's a well-deserved prize for all the trouble you end up going through but, let's not gear towards a different topic.
Bonus stage chests only, at a low rate, IMO. From what I remember in GMS (pre-potential system), goggles were not worn for their stats, but more for their status symbol. They were rare and hard to attain, and looked pretty damn cool. IF released, they should stay this way.
