Hey guys, help me choose the right job for me. I don't like playing warriors, I like playing mages, however I also like bossing and they suck at it. I like good mobility, I like jobs that are useful in party, so a lot of party play, jobs that people like to add for boss runs and also fun for training. What job do you think would fit me best according to these qualities?
Well bishop is the only mage that can actually boss and they're very useful to have anyway. At krex all you do is idle while they kill it and hs them occasionally. At zak hs during arms but otherwise just spam dispell until body 3s almost dead. Otherwise NL/SE if you can afford to wash them.
Battle bishop. You can AFK until HS, or you can help kill the boss/DC your party members with Gene spam. Regardless, you're entertained!
The only job that fits this description is probably bishop. NL has mobility, but it doesn't have any useful bossing party skill aside from damage. They do not train very well. Majority of their exp comes from bossing. Bow master has the most desired bossing party skill, but it doesn't have mobility (thrust doesn't count because pigs are faster). They do not train very well either. Same as NL. Bishop is the only job that has mobility (teleport) and party skills. Bishop is also one of the best level grinder.
Jobs that can grind well and boss well: hero, dark knight, bishop, marksman, and corsair. Jobs that boss well: night Lord, bow master, marksman, hero, dark knight, bishop, and corsair. Jobs that can grind well: hero, dark knight, marksman, paladin, all mages, buccaneer, and corsair. Jobs with mobility: all mages, nightlord, and corsair. Jobs with bossing party skills: buccaneer, bow master, marksman, bishop.
