I think it would be nice if we get more rewards from quests, like raising the exp rate or adding more itens/mesos. I know the main feature of Maple Story is grinding, but I think that buffing the quests would motivate players to do them. The early game questing is fine, exp is super good and pots as rewards are awesome. But mid~late game, most of the quests have no real incentive! It's so frustrating when you finish a long quest by traveling, hunting itens and get only8000 exp as reward, for example (wich you could easily get by hunting down monsters). It would also helps avoid the overcrowding of maps such as GS2. Tell me guys what you think about it
..If this had been implemented like 2 weeks ago, I would be level 120+ by now probably. XD I've completed over 150+ quests by now.. Anyway, totally all for the idea. Especially quests that currently have no real incentive to do them other than completion. Like the 999 kill quests that no one does for sleepywood. I don't think it'd be too feasible to change only specific quests, but an experience (and meso, for those that provide mesos) buff for quests would be awesome.
I like this idea, when me and my bf first joined thats all we did were quests I think this would make people grind less and do more fun questing!
I like this idea, i'm the only in my guild Quest-ing and the reward exp from most 40+ is lame (Except Muirhat hunting Quests). Like the one in Perion Excavation zone, Killing a lot of Skeleton Soldier/commander for a little of exp is not cool :c
As somebody who has already done a lot of quests, this would annoy me and seems unfair that I only got the normal EXP rates for them.
I've done over 100+ quests and I wouldn't find it unfair. it'd give me incentive to go and finish the rest of the quests that i have sitting around, instead of training/grinding at skeles.
I might agree to it if all quests could be reset if it was implemented. Sounds like GMS. I hated the way they did that. Part the reason I quit GMS and now play a nostalgic v.62 server.
I would cry if quests got reset. No way in heck am I going to redo all of those just for a little bit of exp gain. I wouldn't even re-do them to get a quester achievement if they ever came out. Some of those quests take *hours* to do even once, as well as a lot of resources and goign back and forth between continents.

Also, 400k EXP for the kill 999 zombie mushrooms quest? If you handed that in at level 25 (it is a level 22 quest), you'd gain 5 or 6 levels. Way op.
Yeah, I know low level quests are good for those levels, I dont think they should buff them, but after level 30/50 every quest is almost not worth finishing them. Except off course for those who reward scrolls, maybe.
I agree with cutie,maybe only the higher leveled quests be buffed? Maybe starting around 50 when it starts getting a little slower?
Not all quests are created equal. If they made the crappier ones better nobody would have any real reason to complain, but some (job quests, dep star handin, etc) already give a lot of experience.
You're reasoning for this is ridiculous. Just because you completed these quests and got minimal rewards, the rest of the server should suffer? Make a new character and do the quests again if you feel its so unfair. At your level, you have no need for questing anyways. Leave the rewards to those who still have some incentive to do them. Of course, this is all depending on if the quests even get buffed in the first place. I hope we can put this to a vote!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the kill 999 mob quests are repeatable, and letting you have 400k exp each time would be disgustingly OP IMHO.
I would love to see quests get a buff... I'm really not looking forward to grinding the same spot from 51-70 as a bandit with 0 mobbing abilities, and quests would be a more fun way to get there for me personally.
I kinda like the idea of buffing quest. Thing is, pretty sure most quest that give decent amount of exp are bugged.
I think it's a nice idea in theory, but in practice... maybe not. I don't feel the same way as Tentomon, but I do take her point, and resetting all quests strikes me as problematic, not least because experience isn't the only reward you get from some of them.
How about increasing the Quest EXP rate to 8x? this won't spike it up too high and also the Elimination quest series in Nautilus from level 56-70 will help with variety of places to train instead of GS2 etc.
