IGN: Xabiere Problem: White Scroll Consumption Details: 1. Leecher paid me with 1x white scroll for Petri Leech 2. I have been using legendary spirit to scroll junk warrior glove from mob drops with gfa 10% 3. At about September 21, 2017 06:42 ST My 1x white scroll was consumed on a junk warrior glove (Green Korben) I dont really know what happened, but its either my white scroll is consumed somehow or the white scroll checkbox is auto check-ed when you have white scroll inventory? This is the first time i have white scroll in my possession. But i am very sure i didn't check the white scroll box on legendary spirit when i use it. I am a new player and donar about 2 weeks old, I dont know if this is a known bug, an exploit or its a mistake made by me. But please look into this, as the white scroll has really been use on some NPC trash, i am not trying to cheat my white scroll back or anything I been playing long hours to farm for my equipment, really hope it can be refunded. When you use legendary spirit with white scroll in your inventory, the "use white scroll" box is auto-ticked. GMs don't provide refund for players' mistake. I understand your loss as I am also a victim (together with many others).
In Maplesea, I don't think its auto-ticked. Even so, i think is kinda unfair to those that are new to the game and have first time possession of white scroll. Its like a deliberate trick/bug to make people lose white scroll =/ I personally think that exception can be made for this mistake, as its really an exploit.
just fyi, if u hv white scroll in possession, a notification will pop up to make sure whether u want to use it or not
My main point to this appeal is that,it might not be a bug but it is definitely an exploit. I know that alot of players out there are pioneer players and are rich, but please consider for new players joining the community . Imagine this scenario or put yourself in the shoe (That is likely to have happened) 1. New player starts to play, donated to get RP. 2. Saved Cash for 4 days to buy Gacha 3. Went to Gacha, gets a white scroll for the first time 4. Went to scroll stuff junk, consumed white scroll on junk due to the exploit 5. Appeal on forum, get rejected right away. How disappointing it is? Might even quit right away. Therefore i think, If refunds are not given, the box should be fixed or revamped. It should not be auto-checked. Or maybe a notification should pop up? More notice can be given to warn new players about it also. If its auto check-ed, players make 1st time mistake, refund should be considered. If there is totally no exception don't you think its kinda unethically and underhanded? So my opinion is that, refund should be considered if its 1st time mistake for new players and if the white scroll is really consumed on junks. Players are funding/donating to help the server, I think that this is the bare minimum service /help players should have. Else its really disappointing to the max. I really think that something can be done to improve this issue, it will keep happening and happening to new players. So instead of just disappointing new players after it has happen, why not come out with a solution to prevent it from happening. To all other victim & donar that happen to see these, I really think its a debatable issue and i hope that i can get the support from you guys too or maybe voice out your opinion on the issue. I think this has been discussed before, and the conclusion is that we cannot set the box to be untick by default, or at least not until we have a custom client. But I may be wrong.
Just a slight tangent here: You might want to consider re-wording some of your pointers. Words like "unethical", "exploit", and "deliberate" seem to suggest that there has somehow been a menace who's trying to rid you of your prized possession in an unscrupulous and purposeful manner. Fact is, your white scroll hasn't gone to anyone or anything who will benefit from it. The situation was essentially between you and the system. My point being that you shouldn't be using such strong but misdirected words to make your case. If you genuinely feel that they should tweak the scrolling mechanism, you may consider raising it in the feedback section (might be a long shot considering the post above).
