I haven't been able to find an actual DPS chart for pre big bang, only after big bang. Does anyone know where to find one? just one that doesn't have the actual DPS numbers but just the classes numbered by what has the highest to lowest DPS
in this server, not having boat 100% uptime weakens a corsair immensely. I saw a certain paladin on a zrun outdps a corsair. IMO: NL,BM,Hero,Pally/Drk(should be pretty close), Sair/Bucc(?), MM, Everything else
With the issue of not being able to max snipe, MM is WAAAAY lower than that here. Assuming all have SE it's something like sair with 100% boat time > NL > Hero > BM > DK > sair without 100% boat time > Bucc > pally > mages assuming only self buffs, I think BM goes behind NL but it's otherwise unchanged. Edit: NL can't really max TT as TT30 is a HT-exclusive drop, but I'm not sure how far that drops them.
I think NL is better than BM with SE only, but without SE (ideally you'll always have SE as a NL) BM>NL.
Do you know how sair boat works? It has a 6min cd here, and boat breaks once you take a certain amount of damage with it active. This means that on stationary bosses like bf/anego sair is good, but in a less passive situation they're not. Also, a zerking dk is better than a hero afaik, albeit zerking isn't easy/possible on many bosses. Also, the availability of SI and SE have a huge effect on the ranking, as bms and nls aren't affected by SI, yet SE is extremely effective.
Not sure where you got the info of a zerking DrK being stronger than a hero, but this is false. A hero is the best dps warrior. To get back at the DPS chart, it quite differs from solo or party buffed. As solo a corsair easily outdps' a nightlord, however if both have SE, the NL might actually beat it for example.
being a drk, i have to disagree with that statement IF we had berserk 30, then it would be possible. the dmg from sky skis gets out dps-ed by the speed of a sparta/rk. (not official, just from my experience)
Do YOU know how sair boat works? 6 minute cooldown? Interesting boat you have there because mine seems to be working fine after 1:30. I can also manage a decent upkeep because of my lvl. If you weren't aware the boat HP is calculated by (4000x(skill lvl) + (2000xCharacter lvl - 120)) which is 4000x1 + 2000x49 for a total of 102k in my case. Other than that SE and SI both have a very strong effect on my Damage Per Second while using the Battleship which makes Sair the strongest class if it has both boosts. Even when I'm not boosted by those skills I compare closely to Ness' NL and Las' BM who both have a lot of lvls on me, I daresay that Jacek would outpreform them. Hero's are more powerful in v62 than Zerking Drk's even if they were to have the Zerk 30 skill from HT.
nice. I just wanted to ask, did you HP was your sair? I want to make a corsair right now and have no idea when I should start HP washing. If u did HP wash, Did you put any stats on int? When did you start wearing int. equipments? How much HP do you have right now, and what's your target HP? How much HP washing did you need for Zakum, or did you not need any? Moreover, are you str less?
I HP washed to obtain 5600 hp which is a common goal for ranged classes (with that you can survive one of Anego's attacks, HT with HB, Papulatos' 2nd form). To obtain that I didn't have to put much effort into washing. my base INT was kept at 4 and from lvl 50 and onwards I managed to lvl up with 60 (later 70) INT due to gear. By the time I was lvl 130 I completed my goal of 5600 hp and I stopped washing since a higher amount is counter-beneficial to my Boat's HP. Because you need 16 mp per hp wash for Corsairs I managed to do approx. 2 washes per 5 lvls. For Zakum you only need a total of 3100 HP. If you're an attacker at zakum (135+) you should already have more than enough base HP to survive. I'm not STR-less since its much better to be low str with a high lvl gun (lvl 100-110). My base str is 44.
I see. thanks so much man. I'll be doing str-less(using maple weapon) until about 90 and then put up my str according to my final weapon and items with str. I thought everyone needed 30,000 HP, so was expecting much HP washing to be necessary. I might just wear more int. equps before level 50 than you did just to lower the level i need to get to 5600 HP. Other than that, I'll be following your path. Thanks bud. Add: final questions. Would you recommend DEX robe, if I'm going str-less? I thought dex robe would be better since I'm not using any weapons requiring str anyways. Also, did you skill summersault kick or Flash fist?
