Throughout Maple, i always thought that the secondary AP was for accuracy, but many people told me its to raise your lowest hit? Honestly I have no idea what it is used for so I was wondering if someone could actually inform me on what it means, maybe answering some of the following questions and adding a little bit more. Does it affect my accuracy (missing the enemy) if it does affect my accuracy, should my secondary skill be equal to the mobs im fighting do you need this secondary skill only for armor? do mages(clerics) need it at all (besides the use of armor) would assassins need it? or do you run dexless for the fact that you need dex for accuracy? I'm building a bishop and you can tell cause i ask a ton of questions, and i just see everyone making int scrolled items and im hella confused why they are not luk scrolled. Thanks in advance!
Secondary AP in this server is mainly for equipping higher level gears/armor. Sticking with main AP which is INT gives you higher damage/magic attack, more so against mobs which are weak in holy magic.
So if my character has absolutely no Luk, it should have no affect on accuracy, i just need to wear common armor is what you are saying?
No, it wouldnt have effect on your accuracy at all. Common armor or a low level armor/overall that has decent to high INT stat. Dont worry about being able to equip low level armors because you can still get LUK from other equipment such as zakum helm, deputy star, maple leaf, almighty ring from krex, etc.
for all classes, secondary AP here is only for equipping weapons. thief naturally has high accuracy and avoid. if in case a thief/archer/warrior/pirate needs more acc to fight a certain mob/boss, there's maple pop that gives +100 acc or 1min.

i cant speak for other servers tho, but here in Royals you basically focus on your main AP, and acquire secondary AP from scrolled equips such as earrings, eye accessories, face accessories and pendant. as a thief at my early stage i started with some base dex, then as i leveled on i transitioned to lower my base dex.
Depends on the class. Warriors need dex for accuracy. Mages need luk for equips. Rogues need dex/str for equips (and it increases your min damage) Pirate (buccs) need dex for acc, corsairs and buccs need their secondary for equips. Bowman need str for bows. Warriors are the only class really that their ONLY use for dex is for accuracy (and ST because it needs 120 dex). As a mage, you want as much base INT as possible because mages get the same damage increase from INT that they do from magic attack, so the luk put into to wield better staves and wands is wasted (especially with lukless wands at 130). Otherwise, it won't affect your accuracy to be lukless, also, the more base INT you have, the more you benefit from MW, which is true for all classes though and their main stat. So warriors who don't need the dex for acc or a ST, benefit from more raw STR from MW (and thats why they scroll for dex, not str, mostly.)
