So, today i sold a balrog chair i got from chair gacha for 2cs to this A buyer. After tat, i saw this A buyer wanna resell it at higher price at fm n posting reply on the forum thread to sell it. It's ok, there's nothing wrong with doing business like this cause i got nothing to lose, i just got 2cs for the price of 25m. But i did post a reply on the thread that this A buyer posted because im so impressed by his way of doing business. But here come's the problem, my reply got reported n removed because of the term 'off topic'. Ok, it is off topic n i understand, But why report it? Cause he's feeling guilty of his way of doing business? because my reply will make his business go 'poof'? because its simply off topic? maybe it's someone else who reported it? Feel free to leave reply or vote. I'm cool with all of this thing that happened, just feeling boring n wanna make some problem out of a small matter. Peace
thx for replying, after reading it again myself, it does have so many wording problem. edited it, hope its more easy to understand.
Someone (other than the seller) felt it was an attempt to undercut his chance at selling it at the price he wanted because you got a good deal prior, so I deleted the post. No hard feelings of course, that's why no warning points were given out, just looking to keep selling threads open to offers and keeping discussion otherwise in appropriate threads (like this). Now, I don't really know chair prices, but it sounds like you made a good sale OP, feel free to post about it here. I too made a good buy this weekend, but in my case is was sheer dumb luck and not really an accomplishment
Still abit unclear what you posted there, but clarified by Evan. And yes i agree with Evan. You (Paanda) got lucky by getting the chair at a low cost and managed to sell it off, and this buyer A wanted to resell it at a higher price which is ALRIGHT too, nothing wrong here, just the nature of business. Although your post on the thread that buyer A posted is not wrong in any sense, Evan just took the extra step that make Royals a better and friendlier place to play and trade
wow, i didn't expect a staff to reply my thread, but thanks for the clarification. I suppose the voting is useless now. At first, i though no one is at wrong here. But seeing ur 2nd paragraph, now i think that im wrong to leave this kind of reply at first, thx for giving me this 2nd view. Now i feel bad
No i dont think you are at wrong, sometimes there exist an impulse in all of us to notify other people that they 'could' get better deals. Its in our nature to help out others. I do that myself sometimes. We just sometimes forgot that we bring more hassle to the seller. hahaha
It's in some peoples' nature to help out others. Everyone has a varying degree of altruism in them. Some players help others on a daily basis, some don't. And there's nothing wrong with being either of those or anywhere in between. To OP; if you're happy with your profits, you did well. If you personally feel bad that the other person didn't get to sell their item, maybe you should reconsider how you go about your business. At the end of the day, that other person will likely still sell the item for what they wanted and they'll make more than you did, but it'll take them longer. Neither you nor the other person are going to remember this even happened in a month, haha.
