    FIX FOUND?: While I'm unsure whether doing a fresh install helped it, restarting the computer afterwards did seem to get rid of the error atleast. The game should load now, it gets frozen on a white screen for anywhere from 5-10 minutes before unfreezing and working properly. It seems to be a 50% chance the game will just remain frozen, though.

    It's been working fine, but today it suddenly decided to no longer open when trying to run, instead this error code pops up.
    I'm trying to see if using a fresh install fixes it for now, will update with more info once I can test that.

    Edit: Seems a fresh install didn't help.

    No need to get sassy over it. c:

    And where would I be calling this action? I haven't exactly seen that mentioned anywhere.

    Lol I'd have to hold on that. c;

    I'll just wait for someone actually useful to come along, so I guess don't worry about it SB.

    I'll check this now then! I'll update this post once I'm back.

    Edit: Seems to work! MapleRoyals now freezes on a white screen as soon as it opens, but after a few minutes it unfreezes and starts working again. Atleast, it starts working again 50% of the time.

    Are your compatibility settings correct? Updating the game can reset compatibility, especially when all of the files are replaced with new ones.

    Haven't had compatibility issues with the game before, so I never changed any.

    Yeah I figured. It happens to me when my laptop has been running for days without a proper reboot. I also freeze on white screen but it’s just for few second so it should be ok
