Looking for a fresh start post new source and I am thinking about making an AM as a main farming class. I already have a bishop, but with the nerf to skeles and the buffs to AMs it seems like AMs have increased in viability as farming classes compared to bishops while having an 81 Hs mule. Also AMs are just way more fun than bishops and I dread to think about the gene 30 prices when HT gets fixed. With the buffs which one ends up being a better choice late game, or what are the pros and cons of each? Not really concerned with pre 4th job grinding ability, just about end game options. How much easier is it for FP to one hit Petris? Which class benifits from elemental weakness and is either of them limited at end game due to mobs being ice/fire resistant? Any input is appreciated.
Afaik, I/L are much better suited at endgame than F/P as it is actually possible for them to 1hit Oblivion 4 - the most premium exp/mob map (and without the need for godly equips for that matter). They can also afk farm at Leps unlike F/Ps as they are resistant to ice. F/Ps (I/L can too) can however afk farm at psycho jack boxes or voodoos (I/L can too)for stoppers. Edit: Had a weird moment where I thought F/Ps couldn't farm voodoos with their summon
Woops you're quite right, I had a mental lapse when I wrote that. Not really sure what happened I will edit it out!
