I really wonder who is the one farming for likes and support here; the community for making our feelings known about this incident, or the person who posted about it in the first place. Having all your friends to come defend you too.

It doesn't matter who the eq belongs to. It's not about the TOCs or its loopholes, it's not about who gets the eq. Hell, it doesn't even matter whether you have a gf in real life or not. It's about you, Jackson, making the mistake of trusting someone whom you shouldn't have, or should at least have been more careful with. You are in no position to be victimising yourself here at the expense of someone else, who wasn't even involved in your little flirtation games. You are in no position to be demanding "your" gear back, what more using phrases like "my patience is running thin". Who exactly do you think you are?

You are the same person who started unnecessary drama on someone's thread in the most hypocritical of ways. Saying he stole the cape, and shouldn't be selling it, yet making a private offer multiple times, not even bothering whether it was returned to "its rightful owner"? And now just because you got yourself into shit, you're bringing it to everyone else.

What exactly was your point in making this thread? Honestly what you've done so far has been completely unnecessary and toxic, so much for being a person with "huge forum and in-game presence". I'm truly sorry for your immense losses, but get over yourself man. I mean seriously, referring to yourself in third person voice in that clickbait title? How narcissistic can you get. Get off your high moral horse and just admit that you allude to double-standards when it suits you.

And stop pretending to be chill about it, because the screenshots, your words, and the general way you've carried yourself here speaks volumes more about you as a person than it does Seb and "Emily". If you didn't "give a shit about the eq", and if it really were "all about the people", you wouldn't have started this drama, crying like a baby over spilt milk. Being a "prominent" member of this server doesn't give you the right to act like this. In fact, it is frankly comical and disgusting.

You are lucky enough to have gotten back some of it, now move on and enough with this drama. Maybe you need to learn to think with the right head next time.

Also, to all the other people responding to this thread, for god's sake, stop making things about yourselves, at least not here. More bluntly, no one cares.

    Man this is FS 2.0

My friend was given a FS some time ago, and he managed to scroll it to 13 attack, no small feat considering the amount of luck involved. He's generous, likes to lend people stuff too. He let a friend and guildy use the FS, mind you this was the guy who initially gave him the FS. Well, he subsequently decided that because the FS was originally his, he could keep it. Poof, gone.

The moral of the story time and time again is to get clear terms of lending in the trade window, and there is a lot less people can do to snake through the T&S. It's sad but people are shitty, and will do anything to get ahead.

Anyways, going forward, keep this thread on topic please. This thread has the potential to go nuclear and if it does, I will close it.

Why do people assume jackson flirts just because the scammer happened to be a "female"? Jackson and I loaned each other gear I've known this guy since my lvl 50 days years back but does that mean I'm flirting with this dude just because he happens to have something I wanna test out? Stop sounding bitter and petty, if this was your situation you'd be in the same boat because it's STEALING whether it's jackson's fault for lending his items or not.

Like I said, stop making this thread about yourself. I was replying directly to Jackson and I'm not interested in getting into any debates with you or anyone else, nor am I interested in your little bromance. But for what it's worth, you've completely missed the point. It's not about whether "Emily" is a girl or not. Jackson got scammed, and it was his own doing, not anyone else's. Stop trying to make yourself look smart. And the snide comments are what's petty here, along with this lame thread.

He didn't go in though, he's a petty kid who'd probably cry if he got scammed

Edit: Make myself look smart? Kid use LOGIC in your reasoning PLEASE....we all know scamming is STEALING which has always been against the rules, LENDING something and keeping it makes your entire argument null and void, we all know he got scammed and it's his fault, stop sounding like a ranting female because you don't happen to like what people are saying here, ultimately you have no affiliate with ANYONE here and is none of your business.

I'd like to weigh in here, though I'm not sure its my place to do so.

You lend this person your gear, seems fair enough, but tell me why you had to also lend them a scuffed 9/4 glove, and a pink bean chair? Lending your mains Cape/Glove/Shoe, and even the gun if they're a sair, sure, but to lend them a worse glove than the 14/3 you gave them, PLUS a chair of immense value? Forgive me if this has been explained, I only merely skimmed through the comments, and read most of the original post.

I think it really just comes down to the morality of the situation. Did you get scammed? Sure? Did you get scammed by Seb? No. Just because whoever ended up with your gear happened to give it to him, doesn't make it his responsibility to give it back because you're a somewhat known member, or because the gear is valued at whatever it is. TBH I feel like this is a real problem in the server in general, account sharing is off limits, yet gear-sharing is totally fine, how do you expect a GM to make an actual ruling on this. "Legally" speaking, you traded your gear willingly to someone else, and you got scammed. No rule was broken, and now another player has your items, and doesn't necessary want to give them back (I can only assume if he hasn't already given them back now). Why should anyone be blamed but yourself? Just my 2 cents, probably an unpopular opinion but I thought I'd throw it out there.

An EDIT after finishing the rest of the post: @Buccaneer This is going to seem a little harsh but I want you to really accept it for what it is. You got fucking scammed, and you got your most valuables back. If you want to sit here and cry like a fucking baby because you got scammed and didn't get EVERYTHING back, this is not the time. Be HAPPY AS FUCK you got your Shoe back, and stop trying to destroy a member of the community because of your own wrong doings.

just be thankful you got your main items back. not sure why you’re still pinning on seb when you were lucky enough that he got the items and was getting threatened to give it back to you. this attitude shouldn’t even be tolerated from the beginning because some of the items have been returned. there’s no need to be making a thread and making things even more dramatic

I don't think this is the case since Seb admit he felt bad in the screenshot before there were made public.

That's what I found contradicting. I think everyone agreed at this point no T&C was broken. That's why I'm puzzled on why Seb even returned the 121 gun and 24 sock if he is using the "rightful ownership" and "T&C" to defend his decision to keep the 19 cape. By T&C he has the rightful ownership on all three items, so he shouldn't "feel bad" or think what he did "was very wrong" if he thinks he is not breaking the rule and he is the rightful owner, so I'm very confused

There's nothing legally binding about this at all. Seb out of the kindness of his heart and likely out of respect for an avid member of the community, gave Jackson his shit back. If Jackson wants to cry like a child over his cape for his own pants-on-head retarded actions, that's up to him. This thread should've never been made, airing his own dirty laundry is just disgusting and not something I accept from someone as active in the community as himself.

Seems like seb has his own opinion on ownership which is different from jackson, but both of them dont use tnc as the bencemark, since tnc are idiotic guidelines made by idiots enforced blindly by idiots

Why do you keep bringing up these rules. It’s simple you know what item belongs to who. Jackson made a ss when he scrolled the sock and he traded his PB chair for the gun, so its pretty obvious they’re his. That’s why he got his equips back, because i knew they were his. Just like i knew the cape belonged to Emily.

Alright yeah. Between the off topic posts, sidelining into Seb and HT, the derailment into "since tnc are idotic guidelines made by idiots enforced blindly by idiots", and the circular motion this thread is going in, I'm closing it,

If Jackson wants to make a report abuse thread and try to get his items back that way, he is welcome to try. I won't delete any posts that way people are more than welcome to read what has transpired here, but there is no reason to let it continue.
