I am trying to get my Snipe skill. I been killing Sharks for 4 hours and no Storybook yet. How long does it take? They are very difficult to kill as they 2-hit KO me. I just recently advanced to 4th Job.
Rest assured, sharks do drop the green ancient book, but it is tedious. (no approximate time..) You could go to the FM and search for one using the owl of minerva if you like.

@archaea Yup i got a ancient book to sell. Took me 3-4 hours at sharks (questing) untill i found one. Ive heared the value is around 70-100m but feel free to make me a reasonable offer and its urs. Thnx @imangela for the tag =)
I actually bought one for 10 mil from a user on Mapleroyals Forums. If you check old post (over a year ago), there is this user with 18+ available storybooks [ancient book] for sale for 10 mil ea. Also, does anyone know how to get Dragon Breath for a Marksman? I don't have the skill and there is no quest for it.
IINM dragon's breath is a untradable skillbook that drops in the El Nath PQ. Can only enter the PQ if you manage to find & pt with a 4th job warrior that hasn't got Stance.

should be quite easy to tag along with warrior friends or watch the smega /smega for help don't think the skillbook will ever becomes tradable, it's a rite of passage .
You need to do el nath pq with a warrior without stance, they drop from the mobs there (you can get them pretty easily). Snipe/Concentrate (they have the same quest) are the hardest bowman skills to get cause after the green book there is still a long quest with a lot of walking and having to farm etc from taurus and kill balrogs (also the guide on forum is wrong, before partying with another bowman you need to farm crystal balls from taurus which can take like an hour or so)
