Hello, I am pretty new to the MapleRoyals server, with only about 2 weeks experience, however, I would like to request the community's help. With the glitches of all the Party Quests at the moment and no PQ's to do beyond level 71, can we remove the level cap for LMPQ? This will allow players who cannot purchase leech or do not want to purchase leech an alternative to gain exp. Just a suggestion! Let me know what you think...
Voted yes because I wanted to do lmpq for fun even though i'm well beyond the max lvl for it now. Doing it as a unfunded cleric/priest was always stressful for me because I took so long, so it will be fun if i can go back to it EVERY NOW AND THEN and clear my rooms super fast. Plus it could be an alternative levelling place for me if I wanna leech a char one day. I don't see why kpq and lpq--both very popular pq's-- have no level limit but lmpq does. Maybe I missed the memo on this but I was quite surprised when lmpq was "fixed" one fine day. I doubt anyone was complaining about it being faulty due to not having a level limit.
Now that this is in feedback, I'd say don't remove the LMPQ level cap...PQs that center entirely around killing quickly should have a level limit. I'd say if any PQ should have it's cap removed, it'd be OPQ. Could probably use a bit of an exp buff as well.
This is a tricky subject because in an ideal server, we would have all of the other party quests that the Staff have planned for development. And seeing how that's not the case, it can be frustrating for players who are currently in a level range where they cannot participate in the current line-up of party quests. At the same time though, I also strongly believe that the level requirements are pretty much necessary to maintain the integrity of these party quests. I remember in the old source there was no level requirement for party quests, and KPQ would be flooded with Bishops trying to leech their noobs in the first map with all of the Ligators. And that made it impossible to find parties for people who actually wanted to complete the party quest as intended. I suppose LMPQ is a little different, since there really isn't a sense of "thematic integrity" that needs to be upheld like the other party quests—it's just killing boxes that spawn monsters. But imagine all the exp that the low level participants would get if they lucked out with (or actively hired) a Bishop to farm all of those tickets for them? Birth of the LMPQ leech? Yeesh, no thanks. You can't see it but I'm snapping my fingers in agreement with your point (with the exp buff, at least )
