I have a dream. The Maple Royals staffs will implement an effective mesos sink that will balance the market. I have a dream the ws/cs prices will stabilize back to the old source norm. I also have a dream that we'll soon be able to purchase ws/cs @ 300m again. This thread is not for present time. Hopefully this thread will be active in the future. B>ws/cs @ 300m each.
Idk how a meso sink would fix the economy when it’s value has decreased... Going with Ulu 2, it’s a 3 leech -> 5 hour leech to get one CS, therefore the ability to buy has been reduced. So technically demand should be lower since less can afford them, but as it is reflected in the price, demand has increased while supply hasn’t really changed (creating a increase in price). How I see to maybe fix this is increasing the supply. By making them more common prices should drop... maybe. B>WS/CS 310m
Basic supply and demand in economy 101. The ws/cs supply decreased since new source compared to old source because boss no longer drop nx, and new nx sink on fm shop with expiration date. The price on ws/cs goes up because there is no APQ, no HT, no guild PQ, or fm button to socialize. People now days kill krex, Zak, and sell leech/farm mesos. Mesos becomes too common, therefore it is losing buying power. Kinda like after world war II. German decided to start printing money to pay off the debt, but they printed too money they devalue the money itself. The end result was the money becomes worthless where they have to use stacks or boxes of money to buy like a banana. Same thing is happening in royals. Too many people got nothing else to do other than farm and boss. Mesos becomes too common due to the mesos generation, and eventually a lot of people need to stock up ws/cs because they got too much mesos. When everyone is fighting over the cheapest ws/cs, the baseline ws/cs will go up until there is an effective long term mesos sink to keep the nx ratio to mesos in check. Um, the balance of CS/WS is what the demand calls for. There are now more players than ever in Royals(which to me is a positive), and the rate of players increasing is far greater than the rate of CS/WS being pulled from gacha so the demand and price increase is natural. A meso sink wont fix the issue. i think people are over complicating this issue of items increasing in price, but in reality it's not an issue to begin with. There are more players joining, generating meso, scrolling items, and more items being bought and sold. The general flow of mesos in the game is very healthy right now. A meso sink i think will undermine this and actually throw off the natural balance of players/ mesos. Also, i think a daily gach ticket purchase limit was implemented which also effects the rate at which CS/WS are generated.
This isn’t healthy when there is no balance between mesos and nx. We are still with 8k nx daily. Vote abusers are not so common on the server anymore and the lack of nx income comming from bosses is what makes the prices of those scrolls as well as AP Resets sky rocket. We need more nx, once the difference between nx and mesos are balanced the prices will go back to normal, without more nx income the prices will only go up in price
im having a hard time understanding how NX/meso relationship effects the price of items Even if there was suddenly more NX in the game, the amount of gachapon tickets purchasable daily is still capped at the same- and therefore so is the CS/WS generation. scrolls are worth more mesos now simply because there are more players wanting to scroll/buy equipment. (demand up) While the items are being scrolled at a rate dictated by CS/WS generation. (supply) CS/WS are being used at a healthy rate, and are generating merchandise at a healthy rate as well, it is no longer just a means of Currency anymore. There is proper demand for it now to generate real items. As more players join at the rate it is now, more players are seeking equipment for their characters; more scrolls are being used to meet this demand. If you want to reduce the price of scrolls then it wont be to generate more nx or less mesos, it would have to be to generate more cs/ws in game, either by removing the gach purchase limit or increasing the chance at the gachapon itself. But i think the economy now is healthier because of the equipment generation from the increase in players and the buying and selling of these equipment (whether cs/ws are used or not). It also creates a massive gap between scrolled equipment and endgame-scrolled equipment(cs/ws used) but this makes sense in royals as players all use the same equipment (lvl 100+) and the difference of value comes from how well it has been scrolled. what im trying to say is that these price fluctuations are caused by the increase in popularity in royals- and the natural increase in gap between equipment/scrolled equipment and end game equipment. CS/WS play a huuuuge part in our community to generate end game ultimate items (for some eq its the only option). A perfect stonetooth (that requires approx 55ws to forge) is more valuable amongst 100 players than it is amongst 50. so of course as its price increase, the scrolls used to create it increase. This relationship isnt about meso=nx ratio at all.
If you can't grasp the sink vs generation relationship, how can you make the statement it is not related? That's like stick your head into a hole in the ground. If you can't see anything you're safe from harm. Put in simple terms. Think of mesos vs nx relationship as hacker doping mesos. Remember few months ago hackers doped a large amount of mesos in a short period of time, and buy out ws/cs driving the price to 550m+ each in fm. Thats a extreme short term effect. Think of regular player farming as a slower process with similar end result as hacker doping mesos. People with too much mesos start buying out ws/cs at a faster rate ws/cs being generated. Therefore the cost will steadily go up. Right now mesos are generated at a faster rate than mesos sinking away, and mesos are generated at a faster rate than ws/cs being generated. Mesos and nx has direct relationship. Btw this is a buying thread. Please only reply if you're selling me ws/cs at the asking price.
saying i didnt understand was a polite way to say ur wrong, sorry its not about meso/nx balance at all that has to do with price increase you should read what i wrote
So if what I said isn't true. Hacker doping mesos shouldn't drive the ws/cs prices up. Wait a minute. It happened, it's been proven true. As soon as the GM stopped the mesos doping, ws/cs came down. Can't deny historical event as a fact.
