Suggestion: The ability to toggle smegas on and off with a command. Some people love smegas, other people wish they'd keep it in buddy chat. It'd just be a nice option to have available.
Can we lower smega droprate by alot instead? I dont think toggle option is good because if you smega you want evry1 to hear it . dont make em more pointless than they already are but yeah LF 95 % smega wipe & 1/2000 droprate
Please no lower droprate :/ To be honest it will just make me buy them with nx. They're too fun to use to stop and its just easier to have them so accessible.
The Smegas is like 99.9% of the community, if you mess with them, you ruin the community. It's the easiest means of global communication while you're training. It's also great entertainment. If you hate them, just don't read it. There's a reason they stand out so much. If it has a pink background, don't read it.
Yeaaaaaaahno. I don't think we should let a few grumpy gills ruin it for the whole lot of us. I don't support either of these suggestions, but if I had to pick one I'd do the toggle smega one. At least then it's only the people who don't enjoy seeing the talks who would suffer. Lowering the drop rate would just be dumb. Smegas more rare than ap resets and gacha? O k...
I like the idea of being able to toggle smegas on and off using a command, but I definitely *don't* agree with Kingpin's suggestion of lowering the droprate. Some kind of ~supermegaphone (un)mute commands would give individual players the option of whether or not they want to see smegas at that point in time without affecting anyone else. For my own part, I'd mostly keep smegas on, but just occasionally, I'd like to be able to mute them to focus on something without any distractions.
Well I just think it takes alot of fun away from using them when u got 500+.. I guess some people like their servers eaaasymode
Because they are too easy to obtain.. easymode Anyways I get it you all completely disagree with this, even tho some people ingame seemed to agree. People can and they do smega for everything and it could be avoided
To be fair, I reckon lowering the drop rate would then make people buy smegas which means less NX used on Gacha, which means a lot of things that can only be gach'd would be come more rare, and more expensive. Making things slightly more difficult to get a hold of. HOWEVER. Despite seeing this, I honestly think the smega situation is perfectly fine the way it is. You only get a lot of smegas if you never use them. You know that's something. Why don't you sell your smegas if you have so many? Now that'd be interesting. Dropping the drop rate would make them in a lot higher demand. People would start asking to buy them off people. And people like Kingpin who apparently have 500 could get rid of theirs. So that could help the economy by a lot actually. HOWEVER. The drop rate should not be dropped by like 95%. Perhaps like 25%. And that's about it.
Well I did suggest a wipe of the smega's ingame atm, if thats even possible.. You are probably right about keeping the droprate high enough so people can maintain their smega'ing habbits. I wont run out for a year with my current stash tho, kinda pointless.
She's not saying turn them off for everyone, just to disable them personally so we don't have to see others personal conversations.
Also despite my post. I believe smegas is probably the LEAST of what we should be wanting to be changed right now. Like there are FAR more important things that need to be fixed and taken care of. And I don't know about wiping them... I'm not exactly sure you read my post right. XD We as a community need to get our priorities straight on what we want for our server. I assure you, Smegas should NOT be at the top of the list. If Smegas are at the top of the list, then we got it wrong. We probably should have an appreciate our GM's Day. With how much.. Stuff we put them through. LIKE THIS kind of stuff. We are so bratty as a community.

I suppose that's true. Then to be on key with the subject. Toggling smegas would make smegas pointless as the whole point of a smega is to make it so everyone can read and see it. Lowering the drop rates most likely will not stop conversations like was posted from occurring, but it would help our economy. Something to think about.
Just wish people would not abuse smegas like it's all chat. Drop rates won't stop conversations like that from occurring, true, but at least we could have an option to not see such chats if/whenever they occur.
It is all chat though. It's the global all chat... It's not like people are full out spamming, they have a conversation, then it's over. The same with all chat, buddy chat, guild chat, or any chat. Why are you all such angry children when it comes to chats and socializing?
