Pets don't heal 100% of the time. Maybe to not make it a reliable source to heal with so it doesn't take away a certain dangerous aspect from the game. Or maybe it's just a bit bugged.
Nope, it's intended to work that way and it worked that way in GMS as well. It should be reliable enough to cover you 100% of the time if you're training on monsters that kill you in 4+ hits (meaning it's good through GS2), but if you're training on things that 2-3 hit you (once you move to wolfspiders or beyond), you're going to want to use it as a convenience, but keep your eye on your HP and be careful to pot yourself for safety.
This. Even in GMS auto pot was faulty (correct me if im wrong but im 90% sure it was like this in v62). Auto HP is a luxury that should never be relied on completely.
I've found autopot to be pretty reliable, personally - but I've found that I need to adjust the settings so they're a little higher than they need to be.
It was obvious that his analogy wasn't referring to actual real-world dollars and cents, no need to be sarcastically sassy about it.
Say you have 3,000 HP, if you set it to pot when your HP goes below 2,500 you'll be less likely to die instead of when you'd set autoHP at below 1,500 for instance. Anyway, autoHP is not going to save your butt 100% of the time. Honestly I think autoHP is a silly thing to begin with. MapleStory isn't a hard game by any means; keeping an eye on your health shouldn't be too much to ask for. Besides, the bar makes a pretty noticable flickering animation when it goes below your HP/MP alert setting.
When you place your pots into the autopot slots in your pet equipment, you get this interface pop up: OK, I've got mine waaay higher than necessary (especially as it's on my GM, lol!), but yea, having those HP/MP alert sliders a little higher than they need to be tends to mean that autopot triggers before your HP/MP go too low. It's a little more costly on pots, but I've found it helps me.
You also gotta make sure to set it back up after you log back on, or D/C. I couldn't tell you how many times I've died because I forgot to set it back up.
His question was concerning the name of the item, obviously something your team didn't implement. So, in the context of what he said, there were people paying actual money for it.
its called nx- even though we get it for free it eventually becomes a waste of nx -.- it should b fixed
There is nothing to fix, the item is currently working the way that it is supposed to work, which happens to be the way it has always worked, both in royals and in GMS.
I only had the auto mp thing on my bishop, and because of the healing it worked really well, I tried the auto hp once aswell but soon found out you shouldn't rely on it, haha.
It's strange. My autohp/automp seems considerably more reliable than anyone else I've ever spoken with. It has only ever failed me once, during an extreme lag storm.
